I don't know if I'd say disappointing because I've never liked the way he plays, but he's been awful for sure.

I fully expect to see a few more goals sail by his glove hand a foot in from the post. Players keep shooting there because they know it's almost assuredly gonna be a goal.

Hopefully Neuvirth plays well.

sometimes I feel being up with the big boys, doing the practices, travel, etc is also good and part of the NHL learning curve

but certainly playing top minutes in all situations in the A can't hu

I think they should keep him in the AHL this year. One more year of top pairing minutes cant be bad. Id prefer they dont rush him.

Looks like they would have 8 - a few guys have strung together 100 games over 4-5 seasons.

This is franking embarrassing.

The only forward I can see making the team would be Petan.

Defence? Maybe one of these scrubs makes it as #7.

And forget about either goalie making a good impression tonight.

The Athletic did a great job this summer of featuring every crappy castoff that the Leafs invited to training camp.

I'm routing for all of them - fantastic human interest story.

It just seems a shame that all of them lack talent.

I was at the Leafs-Habs preseason game that precipitated the NHL passing the rule.

A friend's dad had 3 corner reds at the Gardens - me, him and another buddy (this would be early 80s) went. I was psyched. I was young and stupid, so I assumed I was going to see Lafleur, Naslund, Shutt, Gainey, Robinson, etc.

Yeah, no. They had sent a team worse than tonight's team. Ballard complained, and the Habs had to send a few players on the train to make it in time for the game. But they still sent poop players.

Stupid Habs.
