Mitch isn't playing the clock correctly. Snapping the ball with over 8 seconds on the play clock....grrrrr |

Can we get him banned for that? Seems appropriate to me.
Mo, Blowman gets all of the blame. Always. Don't forget it. |

Sikura told me to post that about Keemun - so yes it’s his fault. |

I don't think Booger will stick after tonight. He was a bad pick. |

Back in the day, he was able to sniff out those flicker plays a mile away. |

Las year tribusky looked fantastic until he got injured and when he came back he didn't seem like the same player.
This year him and the coach have been awful .
The defense is still good but it's clear that losing their d coordinator has hurt them a bit as well as a few key players leaving.
I think that rookie kid bray is that his name ? Looked good in preseason I'd give him a chance and bench tribusky - Taylorst1
Bray isn't a rookie. He's 27 and in his 6th season |

overwhelmingly the view of the craw/lehner duo is positive and was a slick proactive move by stanbow...
I do not question the strategic decision by stanbow to sign lehner for all the well rehearsed reasons...
However...craw is the number 1 until he isn't...he is uber competitive and wants to play...he has even said he plays better the more he plays...
for all the positives with with 1a and 1b goalies there is the risk of a problem:
if craw regains his former (gosh can I say it) elite form which may mean less games for lehner or the colliton tries to navigate a 50/50 split or if both play great you may here grumbling of playing time...probably this will never become an issue esp if one or both suffer injuries but its not impossible.
I looked at the crow/emery splits of 2012-2013
gs W L OT
crow 28 19 5 5
emery 19 17 1 0
48 games played in 12-13 crow got 58% of the games for 82 games that would = 48 games. In his 6 full seasons crow has averaged 56 starts. Now the strike year was a compressed schedule hence the more games for emery. Its my best estimate crow (if he stays injury free) will start somewhere between 48-52 games...leaving 30-34 games for lehner....will they both be happy...
watching how JC handles this tag team in net is going to be a fascinating story this year..
in the first month there is only one BTB with 8 of 9 at home.. |

If one of them is out with injury I am guessing that Laakinen is the better goaltender than Delia to recall.
My concern about a goaltender injury is just based upon the facts of goaltender interference going back the past many seasons.
Until the league does something concrete and effective to either curb or greatly reduce charging into goaltenders, there is a very real possibility that Crawford could get upended. Possible injury/concussion. Even just a minor run into him is mind games an opponent may strategize.
Crawford is injury prone - wouldn't you agree. |

At least it's not Perlini anymore. I suspect it will be Nylander. If he scores 50 goals they will say he's not a two way player. |

Hockey as a Fun Hobby, a book by Brendan Perlini

I respect his attitude toward life (wish I had a bit more of it), but I'm guessing it drives some of his teammates and coaches crazy. - pdx2ord
Yeah, was just reading this. I'm sure he's a great guy to grab a pint with but maybe a bit more of the killer instinct is needed. |

Crow is not a complainer coming from the guy who thinks Lehner will play more. The record will dictate as much as injuries. People don't complain when winning, except that catcher the Cubs had in '16 whatever his name was "Miggy?" If they are losing it won't matter.
