JV and Tanev to WPG would be nice. What could WPG offer?
- LordHumungous
I don't think JV is on the market (yet), but I bet JB's received some calls. |

i was thinking the other day that hes like hansen without the smarts or torres without the physicality, but settled on a faster kassian - johnnykarate
At least Kassian hit and could make a pass. I don't mind Virtanen as a player but he's super disappointing as a prospect.
This team is flush with bottom 6ers, might as well try to trade whoever has some value. Too bad the timing sucks.

I always liked Kassian, he had his demons and turned his life around.
JV's #'s aren't too bad, he just needs to drink the Kool Aid. |

Funny that Ferland went 18 and 25 in his first two basically full NHL seasons.
JV last two seasons has gone 20 and 25. So if Jv hits 40 points this year he's as good as Ferland and should get first line duties? Pretty sure Ferland has spent a lot of time playing with 1st line players the last two seasons he's hit 40 points.
I said TG needed to evolve this season for the Canucks to make a splash. Haven't seen much of it yet. - manvanfan
Ferland starts a 4th liner and was very effective putting up those points JV put up those points mostly in garbage time assignments in a top 6 role.
It's not a very good comparison. |

Getting ready to head down south, starting to cool off in AZ, should be good in another three weeks. What about you? Still going down every now and again. - LeftCoaster
Nice, desert season runs oct 1st to end of May for me. Getting excited. I’m actually in Spain at the moment though |

Unfortunately he had to blow it on 3 NHL teams with his demons before he turned it around. Looks like he finally took things serious after his wee hour crash in Montreal soon after he was traded there... and found his ass quickly traded away again. |

Roland McKeown is on waivers.
Canucks could pick him up and waive 1 of Beiga/Fantenberg. Benning could then claim Linden Vey never happened.

Interesting stats.
Harman Dayal
@harmandayal2
Josh Leivo when AWAY from Pettersson last year:
53.3% shot share (CF%)
53.8% expected goal share (xG%)
13-6 goal share
For reference, no other Canuck skater was above both a 50 percent share on shots and xG. Most underrated Canuck in my opinion |

He should make the team, he's the kind of guy you can have on the wing of your "3rd scoring line"

15 goals in the bottom 6 last year
people need to get over his draft position, he's not going to be a top 6 forward. |
