I know it preseason but is anyone else worried that Kreids has been a ghost? Sorry TPC, but he should have been a little noticeable. At least his speed or something |

I went to Buffalo around the same time and sat 6 rows from the glass for $65 - Rangers99
Yep. I'm actually off by a little bit, in that the Canadian money at par days were over by then, I think. Jagr was still in Pitt when that was going on.
But, at those prices I used to sit at center ice in the upper bowl about twice a month.
Only time I've seen a game in Toronto since the mid-80's was when we got free tickets. You pay more to park your car there then most teams ask for tickets. |

great screen on that Panarin goal
need to see full lineup
Michael Haley has made an impression
I wonder if there is a chance he makes the team as the 12/13th forward
he's the kind of guy you want as 13th, cheap, taking no cap hit
I wouldn't mind him in that spot and Morrow as the 7th D-man, both making like 600K, the young guys in Hartford playing a lot until they are needed |

they've got some tough decisions to make
Right now I'd be more inclined to keep Lindgren and send Hajek back
Having a guy like him who can handle himself with his fists is good to have with these young skill guys |

Brayden Point signed for 3 years at $6.75 million.

Yeah but if Haley, Lemieux, and Tony are all in the lineup I think that would be enough. I just worry about sending Hajek back to Hartford with how bad that turned out last year. All new staff down there though, so thats good |

I mean, what I'd really like is a left side of Skjei, Lindgren and Hajek |

DQ said all 3 young centers — Chytil, Andersson And Howden — do need to make the team. Chytil would need to be a top 9 forward to stick. If all three make it, one may be a fourth line center or one or more may move to wing. |

Lightning have re-signed Brayden Point to a three-year deal paying $6.75 M AAV. The Lightning came up more than a million a year from their last offer. |

It probably aided in his decision, but for the most part all of the RFAs the past couple weeks have been squeezed. If point gets only that as a center, you wonder what Ratanen will eventually sign for. |

Should be a relatively easy win against a mostly-B-squad lineup for the Isles
These are the lines from today's skate with the group not playing DET tonight:

I actually thought Staal-Fox could be a pair this season. Staal will allow Fox to take chances and play his offensive game |

They have to trade Kucherov right? Only one without some king of NM/TC. They could trade Vasilevsky, but that would seem I dunno not smart? |

I think they'd be better off trading Vasy than Kucherov. Kucherov is literally a top-5 player in the entire league and probably a top-2 point producer. Not suggesting it's a "good" idea, just seems like the lesser of two evils. |

I get what you are saying, however if I was going to ride a season, I'd rather have some sort of goaltender. Without Kucherov, that's still a good team even without figuring the obvious bounty they would get in return for him. If they don't have Vasy, they literally have pretty much no one.
What's funny about their capfriendly page is they have a decent amount of buried salary that will come off the books. They might get lucky with some fluke timing of how mismanaged they were the past couple years and somehow be sort of OK. |

I think they'll trade Point, that's my prediction, eventually
he may be easier to trade now with that contract than he was before |
