He's the best playmaker on the team and it isn't really close. He may "only" score 30 goals, but getting 40-50 assists to go along with that makes him almost like a second center out on the ice.

If Buch doesn't score over 30 this year playing with someone as skilled a passer as Panarin, he might never score that much.

Source close to the situation tells me the Brayden Point contract situation is pretty close to being resolved. Amazing progress given they were $2 million apart before the weekend, with the Bolts’ three year offer stalled at $5.66 million annually.

I'll be at Ottawa's home opener against the Rangers. $90 a seat in the corner where the Rangers shoot twice, 200 level. I live in Toronto and it's cheaper for me to drive to Ottawa and stay the night then to watch the Rangers here in Toronto.

I hear ya. At least Buffalo is on the rise again (theoretically) so hopefully I can see a decent game over there. They have been raising ticket prices, but still not in the same stratosphere as Toronto or NY!
I desperately want to score tickets to the game NYR play in Toronto at Christmas time!! Saturday night between the holidays! But, unless I can find an "in" it's little more than a pipedream.
