What good young roster player from the Flyers might that be? Might it be two good young roster players? I think it's pretty clear this idea hasn't been thought through very well by those suggesting it.

I mean Ghost/JVR would give them a D man they need and a respectable, if older Liane replacement at LW but I think other teams will best that offer.

At the end of the day the Flyers need to clear significant cap room to get it done so I don't see them adding a top prospect to their best deal.

Not really. I've essentially said the Flyers probably won't have the best offer out there. Doesn't mean they shouldn't be in on the deal. Maybe the best offer is from the West and they're hell-bent on moving him to the East. Maybe they want NHL ready players and not prospects. Who knows. Anything can happen.

Yes really! In order to be in on the deal, you have to meet the asking price.

I see it as TK and Ghost for him which is a steep price, Although I dont beleve we had a pure goal scorer like him in years, He would be a nice additional to turn the future into NOW for Philly, but would you want to give up both, Both are locked on salary numbers for years with Ghosts being darn reasonable.

Ghost, Braun and a prospect would make it work cap wise. They get a young roster player and top prospect. Braun a cap dump. Most teams would offer something similar I'd think.

Flyers can be in on it if they so choose. I really don't see what you're getting at...

What I'm getting at is exactly what I said previously. Those making the suggestion to go after Laine have not thought it through very well. Your trade suggestion here is direct evidence.of that.

It's possible that the Jets ask for one of Provorov or Sanheim as a starting point..

That a solid no than...........Sanheim looks like a true potential top pair D Man, Not saying he will be but the potential is there Too valuable to pass up for someone you have to overpay for cap wise as well

Aaaaannnnd you just added to why it continues to be a small.

Couldn't you just let let it go? Couldn't you just avoid the conversation?

God forbid I offered how it was dumb and it was different from your view.

Did you have to make me feel so small and yourself better by trashing my response?

Honestly, do you really feel Morin at wing is a sound logical idea?

We don't have to agree with someone to show them respect.

Again, someone may be new to the sport or a kid. Or... maybe they just aren't all that bright... maybe they said something without thinking it through too much. So what? Should they be ridiculed for any of that? Do people need to pass an IQ test to breathe the same air as you or post on the same board?

I'm speaking generally here. Not particularly you or even the original poster of the message.

It's very simple. If you don't agree something... or you find it illogical or even asinine, and the person was not attempting to troll, you don't have to put that person down.

It really is that easy

Sweet I just remembered my FlyersBuzz password in time to log in for the season! Took me about 10 tries. S'up (frank)ers?

Well if they continue the recent pattern...every other year...we should expect post season play this year! Woot!

Seriously though I like the roster moves. The young guys are promising. The new coaching staff is no-nonsense. From a fan perspective, I enter the season hopeful.
