He can’t win face offs, so he sucks. Did you not get that memo? - Ogilthorpe2
I guess the question is, do we want Anisimov or do we want Kampf to be the third line Center? They had their choice. |

I think it was more they wanted to change the dynamic with the team and get players who push back more (Shaw, Smith).

I think you Said it best. Anismov was just here in theory , but his play on ice didn't really exceed one way or another.

It’s also a waivers thing. - walleyeb1
Think that’s why they brought in Holm on a 2way just in case one of Dahlstrom or KooKoo get claimed. |

Hawks also haven’t won a Cup with AA on the roster. Clearly he was bud luck. (Red font maybe?) |

Two-way and waivers have nothing to do with each other. |

I was thinking the same thing. His first year here Chicago just won the cup and anisomov Kane and PANARIN looked great regular season wise but playoff time fell flat. After that anisomov bounced up and down the lineup .
Imo I just think everyone is okay moving out arty as long as that center position is filled with someone who can overall do a much better job .
Regarding Smith, I haven't much followed or paid attention to him , other than what I researched regarding his numbers and just a brief history.

See we are back to debating the Most Mediocre Man on earth (Anisimov). He is no loss. Kampf probably isn't as good, but it's not like he's that much worse for a fraction of the cost. Hawks also have a couple other potential options for L3-C. I know you aren't pining for him, but the Good Ship Anisimov has sailed Bon Voyage. |

It's true, I'm not pining for him. Just pointing out that they had another option other than Kampf, who the board thinks shouldn't be 3C. Maybe that was their plan, and maybe it'll work out fine. |

Hahahahaha!!!! Just making sure. I wasn't sure if you had your bifocals on for the commercials, or if you caught smoke signals of the Nintendo change. |

He’s more qualified for the 3C role than anyone currently on the roster, and as has been pointed out, would still fit under the cap. |

Better player than given credit for despite never being able to win faceoffs. Unfortunately injury prone. |

@BenPopeCST
Waivers are in effect starting today.
Per @CapFriendly, the #Blackhawks would have to put on waivers the following players in order to send them to Rockford:
Dahlstrom
Koekkoek
Holm
Quenneville
Nilsson
On the other hand, these bubble players would not require waivers:
Wedin
Nylander
Sikura
Saarela
Boqvist
Delia
