Anyway, I don't care much about it. But I'm also open about being against, say, taking away the bravery medals of army people who also do bad stuff before/during/after their service.

I am the same. I didn't see it as racist a few years ago either. I am not sure at this point, if I see it as racist. I see it as inappropriate in certain instances, but I am not sure why it is 100% always racist. Either way, 18 years ago it was not considered racist at all, and I doubt that was his intention either. So, I agree with you - he handled it properly and this should be the end of it. But it won't be.

Personally, the hug of Bianca was way more cringe-worthy to watch.
