I will be petrified he lights it up somewhere else... the skill is there

It is but I’m not. If he doesn’t do it this time around with us he’ll never do it with us imo. He’s had enough chances.

The only issue with trading Ho Sang is that his value, in a trade, will always be almost nothing. No GM is giving up something valuable for a young guy with, whether they're true or not, perceived attitude problems and that doesn't play defense. It almost doesn't make sense to trade him, because the 3rd and 5th round picks we'd probably get for him are worth exponentially less than what he could turn out to be.

Buy you're right let's bring it up every time we mention his name that 4 years ago in his first camp he over-slept. BUST!!!!!

with his 26 goals in 150 ahl games my guess will be that he will be lighting it up somewhere in Europe

Maybe. Or, since he is more of a playmaker than a finisher, some NHL team will match him with a sniper and he might end up with a ton of assists. Still hoping that team is the Islanders....

His problem is that he wants to make the World's Greatest Pass on every play, no matter where he is on the ice and what the situation around him is. Talent, attitude, and everything else aside, I think it'll be tough for any coach to trust a player who's a coin flip on every shift as far as whether he'll create a beautiful goal or a terrible turnover.

He’d probably be a hit in the Asian league. No racist.

All fair points. Seems like Barzal started off that way, too, but it seems he is more coachable....

Right...even coming off a monster rookie year, it still took Barzal a good part of last season to earn Trotz's trust on things like that, but he did earn it in large part because he is more coachable. He still makes mistakes, but he's built trust by buying in and giving it his best effort to change.

Problem is he makes offensive plays for both teams
