A friend of mine who's originally from Winnipeg and bleeds the Jets has said that Little's play has declined significantly over the past couple of years and last year, while he was pretty down on Ehlers, too, he felt that Little's poor play was affecting his linemates.

Maybe Little's numbers took a hit, because Ehlers was injured and Laine wouldn't stop complaining about not playing with Scheifele and Wheeler?

Yeah, we should have taken Laine.. Think of all the cap space.. We wouldn't pay Laine $11.634M per year, like we are with Matthews.

Ehlers was injured last season as well. I think Laine wants to force a trade to Toronto to play with Matthews.
