Not long ago I read a 1st + Suzuki in here and the fact that it would not be enough. Like I said before, keep your picks and prospects. It might be «boring» but that's how you rebuild properly.

Sure but Laine is pretty young, like 21 years old. Besides, you can’t just pile and pile them. Didn’t do any good for the Oilers and the Leafs rebuilded for what? 10 years? I don’t think that this is the best strategy. At one point you can’t just have picks and prospects, you need to surround them (again the Oilers). And if a young player is available then you need to evaluate the + and the -. I don’t have high expectations regarding Suzuki. If he ever hits 50 pts i would be pleased...
