Nothing at all. Should be out of the league |

Seriously haha, one of the guys played 14 games, the other two have a couple seasons, sorry PC principal. If Stewart makes the team over em, Frank those 3 I'm done with em. - ClaudeFather
If Stewart makes them team over them may have nothing to do with them though.
Hexy chose Haag over Morin when clearly that preseason Morin was outplaying him. Why?...probably because he saw Haag as a more steady presence prone to less mistakes.
If Brian Burke was GM here....who do you think would have been the choice?
Sometimes its not just the players play. |

Not sure any of that was clear but think whatever you want. If Stewart makes the team over them those kids suck, the younger guys are a little different coming straight from Junior and college. |

We aren't here to do people favors we are here to win hockey games, he's not getting a roster spot as a favor. If he gets a roster spot it means he beat them out. |

I don’t think Morin clearly outplayed Hagg in his first pre season. I definitely believe Morin outplayed Sanheim. |

All players have Roles. Maybe the role they are looking to fill isn’t suited For a guy like German. |

Ok, so if they want someone on the roster with truculence and those guys don't fit that category, was it because they were outplayed?
I get your underlying point and I agree that is how it should be....it is also possible the GM may have their own thoughts on roster construction.
Ill drop it. I hope neither Gabriel, Andreof, or Stewart make this team. |

I hope we've come to the point that we would want skill and speed on all lines, not just the top 9. |

Even if Frost and farabee don't make the team, none of those three guys should be in the top 13 forwards if everyone is healthy.
Giroux-Couturier-Konency
JVR-Hayes-Voracek
Laughton-Patrick-Lindblom
Raffl-Rubtsov-Pitlick
Aube-Kubel
But everyone probably won't be healthy. If Pitlick isn't ready, I would much rather have Andreoff as a 12th/13th forward than those other two goons. |

AV on Chris Stewart: "He's come in with a sense of urgency. He's skating real well. Last night, he got in on the forecheck. Got in a fight. With that kind of energy, there's a spot on a team." |

The answer I would say is no, which to me makes Raffl more valuable to this team than Stewart. - sjk540

Andreoff, Gabriel, Stewart, Twarynksi all dressing tonight....hope they don't all try to "out tough" each other tonight or this game will be a freak show. |

Only saw the last 8-10 minutes of the game. How did Morin play and what are the chances of him staying with the team? If he doesn't how much longer do they hold onto him? |

Just for the record, I'm more of an AV defender than most people. Some things I can't really defend. For a guy who preaches to turn the other cheek, he sure likes his enforcers. It boggles the mind. |

NEW CATEGORY: In addition to Coach's Challenge for "Off-side" and "Interference on the Goalkeeper", a third category will allow for the Coach's Challenge of goal calls on the ice that follow plays in the Offensive Zone that should have resulted in a play stoppage, but did not.
are they calling this the Saints rule (Yes I know it was the Sharks/Blue)? |

Well I'll agree that Vorobyov and NAK are 4th line fringe tweeners. I don't think you can say the same about Rubstov at this point.
Has nothing to do with PC, but it was wrong to classify 14 AHL games as "a couple seasons of pro hockey." Do you disagree? |

NAK has 3 seasons, Vorobyev 2, Rubstov 1 , I lumped them all together, was it really something that needed to be called out? I think you understood where i was coming from. |

And again, I said I agree on Vorobyov and NAK. They are 4th line tweeners.
I don't think an injury-shortened 14 game AHL season should be held against Rubstov, though. Do you agree? |
