Nope just one but Lucic will get one too because it’s the former Oilers curse.....book Talbot for a shutout too

No worries my man. Neal will score 50 and all our fears will be groundless.

"Players who sign at 18 years old are eligible to have their contracted extended for 2 seasons. This extension does not apply if the player turns 20 between September 16 and December 31 in his signing year. Signing bonuses do not slide, and are paid to the player regardless of a slide"

I've seen no indication that their contracts slide unless they're played back in the CHL. Based on the part following the bolded, McLeod wouldn't be eligible because he signed in May 2019 and turns 20 before January. Doesn't seem viable that Bouchard would be eligible for an AHL ELC slide just because he signed last summer but still turns 20 before January.

"An exception to this rule is that if the player is 19 on September 15 of the first year of their contract, and turns 20 between September 16 and December 31, their contract does not slide."

Both fall into this category and I've never seen slides work in any other way than going back to the CHL or the AHL as an 18yr Euro on loan.

Bouchard and McLeod both fall into the slide category.

That's not what Capfriendly says. It only marks Bouchard as a slide candidate (I still question that). See the following on slide rules from Capfriendly:

"An exception to this rule is that if the player is 19 on September 15 of the first year of their contract, and turns 20 between September 16 and December 31, their contract does not slide."

There certainly are some positives, but I refuse to nurture any optimism. Not yet.

Apparently Sekeras is dazzling in Stars camp. Nill came out and said he thinks Sekeras will be the most impactful and noticable of the signings they made this offseason. And we kept Kris (frank)ing Russell over him.

Don't worry, Injurej Sekera will be back to LTIR form by game 2 of the season

Hey you.

WTF have you been hiding all summer?

Well, you know life can be a mud hole, and not always you're ready to wallow... (yet Reveen may be to swallow...)

But i was always looking forward having a serious talk with some friends... wishing you a great Oily season to come!

By all the Chiarellis hidding in the woods north of Oilmonton, please don't remind me to this reason of an endless summer... now , and especially in '93!
