Me for the past 20 years “Can I find 9-10 wins on this schedule?”

Me today - “I can’t find 6 losses on this schedule”

Slow down....

Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

What we've seen so far has been good, but there's still work to be done.

I don't know if Sabres can make playoffs, but I really think they will be much more fun to watch this year. I see them maybe starting a little slow as they learn and adapt. Then showing steady improvement as they start to believe more and more in each other and their coach. Come February/March, they will still be playing meaningful games. For some reason I see this year's Sabres having a similar season to the Panthers' first year with Gallant as coach ('14-'15). Five guys playing together, with no quit in their effort. They became a tight team who would battle for each other, and the improvement became like a snowball rolling down the mountain by late January/February. FL had Lu still going strong then, I guess the biggest question is if Buffalo's goalies will be good enough?

The biggest question is, was, and will be: do the Sabres have a 2nd line?

Not a playoff year agreed, not because this team is not capable of making the playoffs but mainly due to the fact our division is stacked and the wild card cusp will be much higher in the east than in the west. We will fill the gaps needed to push us to the next level this summer when the last (minus Okposo) of our dead weight is finally gone. When Okposo is the worst player on our team, we have truly accomplished greatness.

The game against the titans three weeks from now is the game I am expecting tobtell us the most about who this team really is. That game and the game with the Ravens later this season will provide the most meaningful measuring stick in my view.

This ^^

Everyone will beat the Giants and Jets. These were must win games. The end of the season will be tough. Titans are the first big challenge. They made the Browns look awful.

I agree. I am anticipating a similar game this week compared to the last two games.

The Pats game is almost guaranteed to be a loss, until Brady is off the field.

The Titans is where the Bills prove their worth.

Hopefully it's not a snooze fest. I wish the Pens had someone other than Rust and Aston-Reese in, but nevertheless it's a hockey game.
