easy. it pre-season and no one ever thought Sikura was a defenseman. Plus, Wilson can skate. Even if he is a giant POS |

Perlini goes down more than a hooker working shore leave. |

Wilson is a nasty player but he can play and he would have bull rushed through most of the d-men in the NHL on that play - Sikura had one chance and that was to poke check the puck but Wilson didn't give him that chance. |

There were some good takeaways and some not so good takeaways - but it's only the first game so hopefully the not so good takeaways improve sooner than later. |

Happy to learn today that labor disputes are temporarily in the rear view mirror. What a thrill to see our team again, after a long hot summer. |

Indeed. I despise the business side of sports. I know it's part of it, but just rather talk hockey and thankfully now we can. |

Perlini was useless tonight.
The guy I really liked tonight was Highmore. Don't care if he did not produce any points because his play was solid. Looks a lot like Bolland the way he plays. |

Perlini did lead the team with 8SAT, 5 on net, and was credited with 2 hits, for whatever those numbers are worth. |

Lol great analysis . My take on the game. I thought Nylander and Saarela played a good game . Boqvist offensively is fun to watch but he still needs more work on his defensive side and needs to bulk up a bit.
Perlini was useless as 2 tits on a bull. Chicago played a great 1st period , but after that the team as a whole as well as coaching lacked any consistency going forward, simple mistakes at their own blue line , running around in their own end which cost them a goal , bad penalties .
The 4th line was non existent IMO.
Sikura I liked his knowledge to cover for boqvist on defense , but still waiting for him to light the lamp and show he is come into this year better prepared .
Delia was just okay nothing special about his game considering he gave up 4 goals

I think Gardner's situation was affected by a history of back problems. But Gus is going to get paid. |

Excuse me? Every time I post something you always come back with a snide and insulting comment. Your always starting arguments. Just like yesterday your first comment was directed in a negative way. How about you grow up for once.

Thought he had a decent night also. Little to no errors under pressure. I was poised to get irked once again, but it never transpired. |

Is Kirby Dach staying somewhere with Kim Johnsson? No mention of him since the first day of camp. I figured there would be some kind of update on him. I am just really surprised there hasn't been anything from the Hawks on him. |

Someone posted earlier that the Hawks don't give updates on players in the concussion protocol. |

Same hahaha!! I think he could be paired with Keith, so hopefully he keeps up this steady play.
