they would trade perlini and or scratch him before they sent him down, he would not make it thru waivers. would you be surprised to know he ranks 12th in the 2014 NHL draft in goals scored? above all of these players: and he falls in the middle in regard to games played.
Jakub Vrana
Jared McCann
Kevin Labanc
Ondrej Kase
Nicholas Ritchie
Alex Tuch
Nick Schmaltz
Jake Virtanen
Christian Dvorak
Robert Fabbri
Adrian Kempe
Kasperi Kapanen
Danton Heinen
Ivan Barbashev - kmw4631
Now do points. All of those players bring more to the table besides score goals. That is ALL Perlini brings and he doesn't provide enough to compensate for his shortcomings in every other area.
TBF, I would prolly take PErlini over Virtanen and Ritchie. Maybe |

For a guy who has to know he's on the bubble Perlini still sucks. He can go anytime now, see ya. |

Some players Bowman and Colliton need to determine where they start this season. Some of those players have to show improvement in weak areas of their game. Since there is a deeper higher grade of competition this season, if they still like a prospect - or whatever player no matter his experience - they need to determine where he plays and how much TOI. Rockford could become a place just to play and stay in game condition.
Could be a lot of frequent miles travelled between Rockford and Chicago.

Hoping the Hawks have a Corp UBER or LYFT account.....

My point is we all know there is no way at $874K he would make it thru waivers. my guess is they carry 14 if nylander makes it or they send smith down and wait for injuries or trades to call him up.

I would think they would send Kampf down before Smith.

Depends, I guess. Kampf is exempt so no risk of losing him. Losing Smith on waivers would save $3.25M against the cap this year and next. Strong odds no one takes him, so whoever is going bad might go down. |

Erik Karlsson comparisons offensively aren't too far-fetched with Boquist. Give him a Defense-First partner and let him play his game...creating goals. The goal last night was insane skill...he batted the puck out of the air 2-3 times to corral the puck then sniped far side high on the wrap-around. - EnzoD
I understand he goes down low in the offensive end but last night in the dzone didn't shy away from contact, didn't avoid the opposing shot, i believe he was even on the PK. He already plays better defense than Karlsson

What would be interesting is what if Boqvist is good enough to be a top 4 defender?
Seabrook
Murphy
Gusto
What gives? Fast teams 7 gets the night off, teams with heavy forwards Gusto gets the night off? |

Fun question:
Slavko Bekovic
@SBekovic
How would you rank these #Blackhawks left wingers in order of impact/importance to the team over the last decade:
Bickell
DeBrincat
Ladd
Panarin
Saad
Sharp
Me? I'd say:
Sharp
Ladd
Saad
Panarin
Bickell
DBC
and Panarin where he is only b/c I think he helped reinvigorate Kane's love of hockey and passion for the game after an incredibly crappy summer. DBC will, I hope, have a lasting impact. Hasn't happened yet. Went back and forth with Bickell and still not sure. Could swap him and Ladd or Saad. |

My point is its no loss if they lose him to waivers. He is easily replaced. |

Smith cleared waivers last season and at that cap hit, he would clear once again. Easily. |

He's the 13th forward for plenty of games, then traded for a meager return at the TDL. I don't care much if he's on the team; but I'd like to get something for the guy, rather than nothing. |

It will be Connor Murphy immediately after the Seabrook venom is all used up. |

No one is going to give you anything more than late round pick. So basically nothing.

Not as long as Smith is around. Lehner has potential, too. |

I would take Gilbert over either one of these two. He was +2 last night with Boqvist. |

Something a bit more than nothing...... That's what you do with assets, you maximize them. |
