Laval should be a decent team this year with all these kids, Suzuki, Brook, Poehling, Evans, Fleury and Primeau, give them a full season playing together, let them develop properly and be ready to make the jump

Suzuki didn't look half bad either. Brook is a great skater, nice offensive instincts but he'll need at least a season in Laval to get used to the physicality and speed of the game.

If Suzuki and a 1st are the main piece i’m all for it though. Laine is a bonafide 35 goals scorer. In our wildest dreams, Suzuki will be a 60 pts player.

A coworker just told me a rumour he heard that Price is giving the Habs one last season to make the playoffs and see if they can be contenders, after that he'll ask a trade to a winning team.

Thoughts ?

I personally think it's BS but at his age it would still make sense to say that.
