It does look good . I think when the injuries appear some of these call ups will be more of an upgrade than years past. - VANTEL
Agreed. MacEwen, Bailey, Perron all can skate and give us better call-up depth then our old favorites... Gauncey, Megma, and Chapoo. And we don't have to throw kids like Lind in the fire before they are ready. |

Should probably follow the Hurricanes model. Eastern conference finals and they made 12 draft picks. It's okay for the first time in a couple years, they didn't steal anyone that I wanted to draft. - manvanfan

Perron requires waivers, so Im guessing he will get a real long look this preseason....

As will Bailey and Sautner, for the same reason. IMO
Pretty sure, most here would rather see Biega/Fantenburg, Loui/Motte sent down(exposed).
Yes, change is good.đź‘Ť |

Agreed, although, I do think a couple players will get claimed on the waiver wire, when the Canucks try send them to Utica. - Reubenkincade

As I was driving the wife to work I heard the SN650 crew say Rafferty had a very strong camp. A few of us liked him from last year . He is expected to play in Utica and will probably be called up but I see him as Tanev's replacement for 2020

While we do have better depth players this year, it's not like other teams aren't going to be needing to send guys down too. Our depth/Utica-bound players have to be head and shoulders better than their depth/roster guys to pick them up. So, unless a GM or coach really knows a player and think they can insert them directly into their lineup, I doubt that many players are going to get picked up at this time of the year.
Wouldn't surprise me if they sent some guys down to Utica a bit early to try as well. |

I like Rafferty, as well. Hope to see him in a few exhibition games, paired with Sautner.
Not sure that Tanev will be done as a Canuck, after this season, he is still a very sound positional defenseman, that makes a very good partner for a rover like Hughes. |

A few teams, like the 3 California teams, Ottawa and Columbus, may want to round out their13/14 forwards and #7 defenseman positions.
We shall see how it goes, soon enough. |

You do realize cap space isn't the room between their helmet and their head right? |

There is zero hair on either sides of my family dating back like 4 generations. I made it to around 30 and then she went quickly. - manvanfan

That sh@t doesn't work. It slows hair loss but doesn't regrow. If it did I would still have a flow like Brock. - thundachunk
All you baldies need to be careful with that sh!t... It “works” by (frank)ing with your testosterone. |

Catch 22. If you want to get them to the AHL it’s better to do it early, while teams still have everyone at camp, but if you want to see if they’re ready, you need to keep them around. |

My wife has enough estrogen for the both of us. I would never touch the stuff. When it’s time I will start shaving it. |

So Eklund saying 3 years deals lower or around the Werenski, McAvoy deals for basically all the remaining free agents except for Boeser. |

Is it term or cash or both that's holding the whole Boeser thing up?
Hasn't played a full healthy season yet and he wants 8 mil per? |

Not sure why he would think Boeser should get more years than a player like Tkachuk, or Laine for that matter. |
