That's his dog's house.

That house is cool though, those shipping container designs are neat.

Cool. I'm gonna build one off the grid in the woods, but also with an underground bunker underneath for when the zombies come.

if nylander bumps up to point a game or more he'll be a bargain, 60 points or less and he's overpaid considering he's not really known for his defensive game at all.

Mirtle in an article on theathletic:

Dubas is only in his second year as an NHL GM, but he’s already had to make a handful of really difficult, franchise-defining decisions. He’s leaned into doing everything possible to keep this talented young core together, even when it meant paying far more than anyone thought they would have had to even a year ago. (It’s believed, for example, that Marner’s camp would have settled for eight years at around $9-million a season back in the summer of 2018.)

So obvious - but some in here still refuse to believe this.
Dubas made a bad gamble by lowballing marner last offseason and lost.

- MaximusAurelius

I thought I read that Marner's camp rejected an offer made that summer.

Doubtful it was lower than 9M AAV.

last year, discussions on here by most were that 'marner should get equal aav than nylander, or maybe a bit above' - a lot of people thought 7.5mln-8mln for nylander and marner a bit above.

Unlikely that Nylander peaked out at 21.

I think he has 80 point potential

- Tumbleweed

The issue for Nylander is how many nights he takes off and his willingness to go into he dirty areas. If he overcomes those things then he certainly has potential to be better than he has been. The reluctance to anoint him as that guy is simply what we have seen this far. He really, really, does not like getting hit. On big ice he shines.

Honestly though - what would you have offered Marner last summer?

If you say 9 million. You are either a liar or a moron.

Doubtful a guy would sign last summer before he played with Tavares instead of waiting till after he played with Tavares.

And the d will still be porous. And next year worse. Unless the cap goes up by 10 million.

The D isnt porous though. Nobody knows what next years situation will be, especially considering this year hasnt even started yet.

I noticed our fan base is full of people who pass on assumptions as if they're facts in an effort to portray themselves as something more than they are. Which is a just another fan with an opinion born of negativity cause that's what social media teaches you to be these days.
