I'm sure we don't need to all like the same people. I personally can't stand Domi, but where does it say everyone needs to be loved or hated by the same people?

Quite different than what you actually said, my dude:

"Domi isn't a good player, or person for that matter."

We don’t need to all like the same people.

We also don’t need to make blanket statements like “he’s not a good person” and pass it off as fact.

The reality is this.. I know you better than you know Max and I wouldn’t call you a bad person because you can’t blog worth poop. Please explain to me why you feel you can define Max as a bad person?
You encapsulate everything I hate in a Leaf fan, and I say this as a Leaf fan. When player X is on your team he’s a God, when player X leaves he was always a piece of garbage..

I'm sorry I said anything that implied I'm not a huge supporter of the brodouche lifestyle. Sometimes I make the mistake of forgetting I write about sports. As has been pointed out several times, I am an idiot so hopefully you'll forgive me.

Have you ever met Domi personally?

I’m glad to see in a moment to correct an error you instead choose to double down.

When talking about douchey I wonder what people who make presumptions about others would be called?

Edit: you’re not nearly as educated as you’d like others to believe Tanner. Give it a rest.

Judging people without actually knowing them is a pretty scummy thing to do.

ROR, the guy who is among the best - if not the actual best - overall players in the NHL?

Man it's hilarious what one season with a really elevated shooting percentage will do for your rep. Domi isn't a good player, or person for that matter.

Heres no way that anyone who reads your blogs would ever believe you won a humanitarian award. And if you did it was for nothing other than you doing something in the public eye to make others think youre a good person which is worse than just straight up admitting that you came into existence by exiting somones anuus. "I am capable of loving anyone, thats why i constantly talk crap about people i dont know and think im better than everyone else" People to do things for others out of love wouldnt throw around them winning awards, which you didnt.

Meh. I don’t really have an opinion on people I don’t know. So my leg is fine. Thanks for the concern though.

Sure, I may have opinions on specific actions that one has said in the public eye but that little tidbit is a minuscule of who they are as a human and people often learn from their mistakes. Did Domi? I don’t know. Don’t know him so I don’t judge who he is. Made a poopty remark but doesn’t necessarily mean that’s who he is or what he believes.

Again, I ask, what made you come to the conclusion max is a bad person?
Please enlighten me.

You can be a condescending cock all day bud, but all you did is take a shot at a kid for no reason and can’t actually defend why you did it. You’re pathetic.

It's a bit ridiculous how many people are taking personal shots at Tanner for taking a (much milder) personal shot at Domi. Embarrassing actually.

I'm not a fan of a lot of stuff he writes, but his comment sections are just turning into everyone trying to one up the last person who slammed him.

Let's try to stick to hockey.

I think he threw out a racial slur in juniors or some called someone a “someone who is attracted to the opposite sex” or something.

Oh wow. They censor “f*ggot?” Yikes.

Who exactly are you condemning here?

We were sticking to hockey until the blogger decided to take a personal attack on a kid. I'm going to presume this "taking personal shots" isn't a reference to me, but if it is, I'm indifferent to your feelings.
You can say what Tanner said was mild all you like. It was unwarranted, unfounded, and unnecessary to the conversation. I've seen him take hockey shots plenty of times in the past at Domi without merit and have never cared. But to take a personal jab at him, while hiding behind his silly alias that he likes to brag about, which had no place in the discussion and one that he can't back up, is utterly pathetic.

So yes, lets stick to hockey.

I live in London and am a Knights season ticket holder. As much as this may seem like a brag, I assure it's not, so stick with me here....I've had the pleasure of seeing countless future NHLers come through this system. I've met guys like JT, Perry, Nash, Domi, etc, etc over the years. I work closely with the organization on the outside with many volunteer efforts, and work directly with the Knights with other initiatives. I get a fantastic opportunity to see how much these kids give back off the ice (some more than others) and get to witness the culture that the Hunters try to preach to these kids becoming men.
Max was one who did his minimum amount of volunteering in the community, and then went above and beyond because he loved the community and the fans. Like I said earlier, my son was struggling years ago and Max spent some time with him to encourage him to strive for more, and to keep persevering. Even as a young rich kid who drove an Audi and had a former NHL dad, Max was down to earth and genuine.
My son now works for the Knights and whenever Max runs into him, he still takes the time to chat with him and make my son feel as important as he did many years ago. That, to me, is a (frank)ing class act of a young NHLer who owes nothing to my kid.

What Max did which may cast him in a bad light was tweet about our immigration laws after a terrorist attack a few years ago in Edmonton. He received backlash for that and immediately apologized and tried to clarify. he didn't make excuses, didn't blame anyone else, and took full blame for his actions.

I highly doubt that is what Tanner was referencing about max being a bad person because he would have already jammed that down our throats....

Anyhow, I stand by what I said from the start. Calling his character into question had no place in this comment section, and unlike Max, Tanner lacks the ability to own up to his own words and handle his actions like a man.

Stick to terrible analytics and atrocious music samplings Tanner. Leave character assassinations to people who've met the kid.

Mic drop.

Most people do it but it's certainly not a life necessity. What everyone also knows is that it's not fair to judge someone as a person that you've never met unless they've done something that warrants that. So while you can not like him all you want, what has Domi done for you to declare that he is not a nice person?

Speaking of irony...

ROR is the same guy who got a DUI driving into a Tim Hortons half an hour from my house.

Man its hilarious what a few seasons of being a decent hockey player will do to ignore your rep.
