As a Leafs fan, I laugh in your face at this post...

...and then go curl up in the corner in a fetal position, sobbing and shaking until I fall asleep.

It's okay, the Leafs traded for David Clarkson to gain a $10M LTIR cushion specifically to sign Marner. Marner should be signed in no time.

Middle ground probably too vast.
Hope Fletch sets a hard date so it doesn't turn into a distraction like what's goes on in TO.

The Pronger stuff is asinine, he didn't do all this at 21 years old and do not compare a seasoned vet Pronger to Provy. I don't think Provy will ever be Pronger but the comparison is so dumb.
- ClaudeFather

Who said Provorov will ever become Chris Pronger? Please tell me who said this.

I’ve never stated a more clear point. Provorov steppes into the league at a time where the Flyers desperately needed a number one defenseman at age 19. He’s never played behind an Al McInnis and this is after Hartford trades him to the blues. Pronger wasn’t doing the things a Provorov is impressive doing now at Provorov’s age.

What’s so hard to understand here? What’s so asinine about this?

Bill said Patrick has been skating normally with the vets up until now.

Tony Androckitis says the injury didn't happen recently, and the Flyers have known about it for a while.

So what's actually going on here?

First round pick?
- LW2530

like a 3rd. Maybe a 2nd if he wasn't injured right now and we just extended Zacha cheap.

Are you guys female doging about me again? Honestly, it’s Friday afternoon. Get a life.

Oh and if you think Lindblom took Schenn’s place, you’re not paying attention.

Oh boy, I spelt Suter with two T’s, the Horror.

- SuperSchennBros

Perhaps you could just get over yourself.

Maybe you should get a life. You are on here all day, every day.

I have an excuse. I'm a 64 year old, disabled firefighter. That played the game for 30 years and I love hockey. I can barely walk and in constant pain 24/ 7.
Yeah, I am paying attention. LINDBLOM did take his spot. Schenn played left wing here almost exclusively, at least when he played successfully.

But you go ahead. Respond on your afternoon break. I'm done with you. You win the internet again.

Let him sit, set a date.

it's not like we don't have options...which COULD make him expendable.

- Hckygoalie31

I'm really not worried about a TK hold out. I'd rather he be here but we have options in the system.

Not sure why you're coming at me haha, people were saying Pronger elevates guys like Carle and it is 100% asinine to compare a 35 year old Pronger to Provy

This was one of my posts "I see what you are saying but Chris Pronger did not do that at 21 years old. The team has more depth on the backend, a good group of forwards, a stable goaltender, let's see what Provy does this year. Not a true #1 yet but this season should be telling."

So not sure wtf you are talking about.

Heh, me neither.

Hopefully he's not gonna be a mini-Marner about his contract.

Pronger played behind Al McInnis. Weber played behind Timonen and once Timonen came to Philly, Sutter played behind Weber. Deajardins wasn’t the number one guy in Montreal. Chara wasn’t the guy with Islanders before going to Ottawa. Keith was on a bad Hawks team.

Provorov plays behind nobody and still has been fantastic up to last sesson’s first half. So what else do you need? Fact or stats?

I'm just wondering how Pronger played behind MacInnis his first 2 years since they weren't even in the same division.

And I need to him to explain to us how guys who were on locked pairings could play 'behind' each other... does he mean literally in a 1-3-1 or something?
