Under Gordon, Lindblom was a PK regular, trusted late in close games and got himself to 17 goals (despite sparse PP time) by the end of the season; three things Brayden Schenn was not able to do under Lavy as an NHL rookie. - bmeltzer
Oh my god! This doesn’t have anything to do with anything!!!
I didn’t bring up Brayden Schenn, that other guy did! On top of that, Brayden Schenn has been gone for two seasons!! Lindblom did not replace Schenn because they play two different roles and Schenn was long gone when Lindblom got here.
What am I walking into everyday??? |

I wouldn't be penciling in Frost at Center so quickly. He hasn't played any pro hockey. If he makes the team I think he's going to start on the wing. That is unless he comes in and is dominant in the preseason. I don't see that happening.
More likely Rubstov to 4C. Laughton to 3C until Patrick can go. - hereticpride
I also think Frost is better suited to play the wing in the Chel, think his skill set translates better. Who do you think would be his perfect pivot? I personally would love to see a line of Lindblom-Hayes-Frost. |

I was simply asking why you didn't account for Pronger's first 2 seasons. That was all. If that makes me a jerk, so be it. - jmatchett383
Dude, you knew what I was trying to say. I did mention Hartford in previous posts. I apologize for not breaking down each player’s career in the number of posts I was responding to. The nitpicking was on your part. |

So new coaches, new system and Patrick is going to miss training camp. He is one of the most important players to be at this camp and start the season well. This is really likely going to have him have a very poor start to season. Hell, he might as well holdout with TK for less money. At least he hasn’t earned much of a raise on his next deal. |
|
|
|
I'm really not worried about a TK hold out. I'd rather he be here but we have options in the system. - hereticpride
I'm not worried either but I'm not sure we know the options are going to be as good as TK. |

Might be bad for Patrick, but could ultimately be better for the team. See what they have in Rubtsov, Frost, Vorobyev and or Farabee. Maybe those guys are all ready, and perform better than NP, opening up some trade possibilities.
I doubt TK misses any real games. |

True but ultimately I just don't think TK is making or breaking the team. |

while i dont think he is a make or break in what that exact definition is, i do think he is valuable in our lineup, and is really capable of getting better. As far as a comparable would go, I think he has the skill set to be another patrick kane light, almost like a patrick kane premium (corona premium). I can definitely envision TK being able to annually put up 25-30 goals and anywhere from 65-75 points a year, playing on the top line with linemates like G, Coots, etc, while also being given PP time. He isn't a defensive responsible player so to speak, but thats what coots is there for. Given the right usage I think he is very capable of doing that. |

Without back reading, is Patrick’s injury the same that kept him out of the final games of last season? This situation is beginning to be concerning. - Sinisalo4vr
Nah it’ll be fine fletcher said surgery wasn’t an option at this point. Hopefully he just toughs it out at 60% rather than get it fixed properly |

haha the one "article" i saw on facebook was like "vigneault rips konecny" or something along those lines. then basically the quote was him just saying he was disappointed he's not at camp and doesn't want him to fall behind. - Ftown19125
My takeaway from the quotes I've seen posted by Bill on the Twitter: AV is pissed |

Usage is the key word there. Without PP1 time, it will be difficult for Konecny to get to that 75 point range.
