Ugh...had to bring the Pats into this. Two games in and they look like they’ll be waiting for whoever from the NFC. Hopefully KC or someone else has something to say about it.
The Bears still have time to get it in gear, but if this is Nagy and Mitch in the offense, version 201, they may want to roll it back to 101.
Eddy Pineiro and the D have been really good so far but I was hoping the offense could join the party. - HawkintheD
The run game looked good - and kudos to Nagy for calling more run plays. But Mitch... I’m not impressed so far. |

I think a balanced running game with Montgomery leading the way should help Trubisky but in reality shouldn’t it be the other way around more often than not?
I’m with you on Mitch. Color me unimpressed. Him looking like a game manager or less hasn’t done much to inspire confidence so far. |

So is Dach most likely not going to be ready for the start of the season? Do we have any information on how severe his concussion might be? - SimpleJack
He'll have to clear concussion protocol pdq and show he fits the vacant centre job before they start packing for Europe. in a week... |

Agree on Piñeiro & the defense. Still a threat on that side of the ball. I was hoping Mitchie would take that next step & I just haven't seen much yet to be excited yet. Idk, 1-1. I'll take it, for now. |

Maybe Mitch is still in preseason mode. He hasn't played a lot of football up to the regular season. Nagy will not hold out the starters next preseason for sure. |

That was something I had said after game 1. Mitchie & others looked like they were just shaking off the rust of having not played. I hope that is all that it is. |

I think Ryan Pace is pretty good GM, but I still wonder exactly what was the reason when they decided to go QB, they chose to move up and take Trubisky. What determined that Mahones and Watson one of whom would have been there in slot three were not targets.
Pace had a hired Nagy who came fro the KC system that Mahones is thriving in…granted the bears had little of the offensive personnel to waltz Mahones is as the savior in season one, but they they had a vet QB they said was gonna play while the rookie QB watched.
It just begs the question:
What were the attributes abilities they saw in Trubisky to move up when the leftovers were gone be there maybe Trubisky at slot three.
In hockey, because we are talking 17-18 year olds, we easily say we are projecting future growth and development based on the skills seen in play.
So what ranked Trubisky so far ahead of the others that you jump up one slot?
Was it the size and durability over the other guys?
Was it Trubisky being a better athlete and running threat?
Was it his football head and their expectation with time the throw accuracy and game speed and awareness slowed to second nature?
I guess if I had one question in private with Ryan Pace with Princess Diana’s golden Amazon lasso of truth around him, that I would be what I want answered.
Or am over thinking it? |

Capitals roster for Monday night. Wilson fighting for his job or just there to hurt someone?

In Eshibition season, a team has to dress at least 8 "veterans" per game

I dunno... perhaps it was because Mitch seems like the nicest guy? Perhaps Pace used the “who would I want to date my daughter” test?
Seriously, he wasn’t the best QB on the board and certainly wasn’t worth trading up to select. But, he’s our Mitch now... |

No I don't. Was that really a debate on here? Shaw all day but they are different players and Shaw's definitely not a 4th liner.
On a different note, Bears bust their TD cherry for the season. FFS shouldn't be that hard, but Bears will be Bears and all... - HawkintheD
I'm looking forward to your description of the nightmare you'll be in when the Lions kick the Bear's asses. |

Hes a freak, it's so rare that a QB just gets it from day one. |
