Also, I really wish the Bears would have drafted Watson or Mahomes, AND kept their other picks they gave up to get Grossman, I mean Mitch. |

If their offense keeps playing like this, they have no chance at making the playoffs. |

TBH, that roughing the passer penalty on the Broncos was brutal. The defender was already making contact when the pass was released, I just don't get that. And then giving the Bears a TO after that final completion? Wow. Very generous. But hey, better than a loss. How long until the Nagy offense gets humming? |

Well Hicks was called earlier in the game for the same type of play, he wrapped up Flacco before the pass was thrown. Just continuing the play. Soon, QB's will wear red jerseys and there will be no contact. Thanks Rodgers! |

It hasn't hummed since midseason last year. The league has caught up to him, and he has to adjust.
The roughing penalty was garbage, but so was the one called earlier on Floyd. |

They have no WR that can get open. Gabriel is a small target and never been a good route runner. Robinson is a good #1. Idk what’s up with Miller but another small target and he hasn’t been open. Cohen small.
Coupled with Mitch being very inaccurate and the Bears can’t complete anything longer than 8 yards.
Nagy has some good run plays but I really don’t see any thing from his play calling on pass plays. No schemes no consistency. Sheehen looked good today and then he didn’t see then field in the 2nd half. Why isn’t he in the red zone package? Should be an easy score.

I enjoy cheering against the Bears. That old woman who owns the team got rid of the Honey Bears. T & A is the only reason to watch the NFL. God bless the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders! - scottak
I hear she’s pretty stingy with the Halloween candy too. |

It’s nonsense like these plays that have made the game a joke, IMO. |

I agree, I'll add on, Montgomery needs to be on the field more, Harris jr blanketed ARob, why are we in shotgun at the goal line you become predictable where you run, even though he's inaccurate they need to continue attacking downfield if the defense is going to sit on your receivers. Oh by the way that Denver defense at home is really good.

No question. Three roughing calls were all garbage. Way too many plays with flags. |

Holding... #72... offense...
If I were the Denver OC - I’d beat that guy with his own helmet on the sidelines.
Seriously, I’d go all Joe-Pesci-go-get-your-shinebox on him. |

I’ve said nothing to contradict that. I don’t care for it, in large part because if the glut of recent rule changes...but when you live in a very social neighborhood as I do, you frequently find yourself drinking beer and watching whatever game is on at the time. The price of being neighborly. |

First game albeit exhibition is Monday against Washington.
In past years i never bothered and hardly noticed the injury report on SCORE app. Contract dispute and injuries listed together.
For Chicago btw beside Dach (concussion) there is Crawford (groin) and Highmore (shoulder). No mention of Kurashev so as far as prospects goes, there may not be in depth coverage of all the prospects. Kurashev had the winning goal in a red white camp scrimmage but was not listed in lineup for Sunday's match. The Highmore shoulder injury could be an excuse to let him get completely healthy early season in Rockford so one less player for someone else to beat out for an opening night job. Like Nylander or pick your own other. |

Wonder how Crow got hurt? Did he have groin last year, too? I'm probably misremembering. |

Capitals roster for Monday night. Wilson fighting for his job or just there to hurt someone?

Absolute garbage. It was a tackle, nothing more or less.
While yesterday was a win it still felt a bit like a loss. |

Why not go after Buster Skrine for going offside on the PAT kick?
You’re not going to block the kick from the end of the line - why take any kind of chance of jumping the snap?
Could have meant the game. |

Agreed. I felt it was a game they deserved to lose. That makes me sad to say because of all of the hype, maturity, new guys brought in (like a successful kicker), coaches, & a chip on most of these guys' shoulders that we would see a better team. I haven't been impressed with this team at all. For every good play, you can count on a dumb one to follow suit. There were a few poopty calls, but it's football, it has become expected in the sport. I hope that changes soon with the Bears, but at least I still have the Pats to root for. |

While that was dumb, how do you compare it to a guy whistled 3 or more times for holding in the same game? |

Oh, that was just the 1st half for #72.
He had three in the 1st half... and then at least one more in the 3rd QTR.
You know the O-line coach must have chewed him out at halftime... and then that asshat goes out and does it again.
Priceless. |

Ugh...had to bring the Pats into this. Two games in and they look like they’ll be waiting for whoever from the NFC. Hopefully KC or someone else has something to say about it.
The Bears still have time to get it in gear, but if this is Nagy and Mitch in the offense, version 201, they may want to roll it back to 101.
Eddy Pineiro and the D have been really good so far but I was hoping the offense could join the party. |
