I think 1 of those guys played up and down the lineup, only scorinģ, when he was being carried by more offensive minded players.
- Reubenkincade

You want me to take the 10th 11th 12th goals scoring players as the make shift 4th line. 9-9-7 that makes 25 goals. (none of them played 82 games)

Can't include Schaller and his 3 goals because he played up and down the line up.

I do think he's a 'team guy' who would wait a few extra games to be cleared if it meant they didn't have to lose someone to waivers.

With this team I doubt that will ever be an issue however. Always another injury just around the corner. Hopefully the improved size, depth and schedule will help them weather those a bit better this year.

- YeOldTimer

More/ better depth might lessen the blown of certain guaranteed injuries this season.

The St. Louis Blues will be down at least one young forward prospect in training camp this year. GM Doug Armstrong told reporters including Lou Korac of NHL.com today that Erik Foley failed his physical as he tries to return from his concussion symptoms and isn’t close to getting back on the ice. In a a depressing quote, Armstrong told Korac there is “no light at the end of the tunnel” for Foley right now

Another player who may never see an NHL game like Lauzon.

10 Years ago he likely would not only have passed his physical, he would have been expected to drop the gloves with someone to prove he was game-ready and show how much he wanted it.

What do you think a realistic return would be for BB at this particular point in his career? I'm thinking pretty significant based on potential alone.
- bloatedmosquito

Hard to say but I bet Minny would pay a Kings ransom for him lol. Doubt Benning could pull that off.

Just wanna see Boeser reach his potential here over the next 5-6 years.

He'll be gone to the States after that.

So Weisbrod says that the cap is not an impediment in talks with Boeser, rather, the market needing to establish itself for players such as Connor/Boeser....

Most already knew this except the #BitterBros and #TeamWhiner....

(frank)in crybaby narratives......

It's crazy that this team is in a tight cap situation considering our 3 best players are making 925k, 5.5 mil, and $0. Really hope JB can get rid of Schaller and Sutter this year, we could really use some room to breathe.

He reported to camp in good shape just to spite the narrative spinners.

JB tried to set the market at the draft. I hope that Boeser gets less now.

I noticed while watching the media availability that just about every other Dman when given the opportunity to talk about Quinn had a smile on their face and good things to say. Really seems like he's impressed just about everyone.

I can't remember who it was but one of the other guys referred to he and Petey in the same sentence as if to imply the two of them worked on the same level, which was different from everyone else.

He came prepared and that's always a good sign. Improved fitness will always help.

I think it was Petey and Jake both said they worked on protecting pucks and being stronger in turns. Wonder if that was a bit of a directive from the team for those two to work on.
