2 of my projected 3rd line guys, only played 26 games apiece, so 52 games and 13 goals, the other, played 70 games and had 15 goals, so 28 goals in122 games, which works out to 56 goals, pro-rated.
The other player that I believe will spend time on the 3rd line, had 14 goals in 76 games.
Sven Sutter Jake and with Leivo rotating in, will make up the 3rd line, with some occasional line shuffling. imo |

Have a feeling he will be back, early November. - Reubenkincade
He'll be on the shelf until they don't his LTIR money for cap space. Waiting for another long term injury or trade to make space for him. |

So 15 each for the rotation sounds about right on what a decent 3rd line should get.
If the first line scores a goal a game.
second line scores around .7 goals per game.
third line scores .5 goal per game
fourth line chips in with .3 goals per game.
That's 2.5 goals per game but obviously some games are going to be more or less. If your top 2 lines can score a goal each per game, bottom 2 lines only need to chip in 1. |

The rest of the Euro leagues are now up and running.
Karel Plasek is listed as the 13th forward for Brno today
Toni Utunen seems to be scratched or injured. Not playing either way
Tree has 2 points in 5 games
Podkolzin and SKA player later today.
Manuykan has yet to suit up this season for Bob Hartley.
SHL hasn't started yet. |

Expecting the 4th line to chip in 25-27 goals might be a bit unrealistic.
If that line got 18, that would be decent production from a 4th line. |

That would be "illegal", and do you see Rouse as the kinda guy who would sit on the sidelines (healthy) while his mates go at it nightly? |

What do you think a realistic return would be for BB at this particular point in his career? I'm thinking pretty significant based on potential alone. |

Really doesn't change the fact that if they would have played all 82 games they would have scored around 30 goals for the season but as you said 18 is realistic. |

I think 1 of those guys played up and down the lineup, only scorinģ, when he was being carried by more offensive minded players.

I do think he's a 'team guy' who would wait a few extra games to be cleared if it meant they didn't have to lose someone to waivers.
With this team I doubt that will ever be an issue however. Always another injury just around the corner. Hopefully the improved size, depth and schedule will help them weather those a bit better this year. |
