That's what I mean. If not for his PP production, he would have been a negative contributer to the Jets last season, which is concerning for a guy who scores the way he does.

F - Vesalainen, Luoto, Chibisov
D - Heinola, Poolman

Real interest will be on Heiinola. Jets wouldn't start him at home unless they were impressed by him, would they? Outside possibility of making squad?

Right now the squad looks like this IMO:
Ehlers-Scheif-Wheeler
Vesalainen-Little-Roslovic
Chibisov-Lowry-Copp
Perreault-Letestu-Appleton
Seuss

Morrissey-Niku
Beaulieu-Pionk

But if Vesalainen isn't ready, how about Luoto in? Or will they move Copp to 4th line C and push out Letestu? Perhaps! Anyways, everyone will see it different.

I also agree. You could put at least two the three dozen players in the league in that same spot and the PP might actually be more productive than trying to finding Laine through the seam for a one-timer. The kid is young but to date he most certainly is not the "driver" of any line or some victim of circumstance. He needs to be better both with and without the puck.
