Not sure if anyone saw the photos the team posted that are mimicking the first day of school photos parents do of their kids. Some of them are pretty funny.

Both in roughly the same spot imo
Need another year before we can be “excited” about either

- jdfitz77

I would say the Bills are further along. Sunday's game should go along way in saying how far. They're on the road, but they're favored. If they go out and take care of business in a game they should win, I think we will see a very good year this year.

Per @MikeHeika in DAL, Jim Nill informs media that Julius Honka has asked for a trade

I wouldn’t hate some Honka. Wonder how much it would cost

Sabres’ lines:
Smith-Mittelstadt-Reinhart
Johansson-Asplund-Olofsson
Pekar-Sobotka-Okposo
Wilson-Ruotsalainen-Dea

That sure isn’t giving Routsalainen much of a chance to make the team
But maybe they are with Asplund & Olofsson?

I think the Bills could start the season 5-1
But we have a stretch later in the season where we could lose 5 in a row too

It’s a QB driven league
And Allen does look improved (minus the turnovers), but i think he still needs another season before we can get to double digit wins

wilson is a stud.. but yeah i agree. i would think throughout camp they would move players around to get them in different scenarios with different players.

Olofsson should get a long look

Day 1. If he earns it, he'll move up. Everyone watched him at the tournament.

A win will only tell us that they can beat a doormat at the doormat's home. Any decent team should be able to do that, so it won't mean much.

A loss will tell us that Bills games will serve primarily as an excuse to get hammered every Sunday through December, again.

That's my point. If they lose, or even struggle, it's a sign that they're still mediocre.

Outlaw Josey Wales.

The way he gave the line "I'm gonna whomp you with a knotted plow line." was amoung the greatest cinematic moments ever.

- Der Kaiser

"Buzzards gotta eat. "
I was never into Westerns much at all, as a teenager I passed over watching Josey Wales many times. I'd see bits and pieces on cable time and again, enough to where i figured i just oughta sit and watch the whole movie so i could put all the pieces together. Granted, I am far from a movie buff, but the Outlaw Josey Wales is a great movie! The best Eastwood movie of the ones I've seen.
The old Indian in the Abe Lincoln top hat was a memorable character.

Hey Goose

I had been lurking for years and have been on a little bit lately.

I've missed your posts which generally made a lot of sense.

Unlike many posters on here.

I welcome some additional real input.

Just kinda surprised to see him on the 4th line,
and with wingers that aren’t gonna help him out much
Was expecting to see Routsalainen in a better spot

Switch him & Sobotka at least

Coyotes assistant coach Phil Housley on the wild swing of emotions from being fired by the Buffalo Sabres to his new gig & challenge in the desert: "When you think back to April, with what happened, and then get to right now, this is great. My juices are flowing again.

Check out the fatty on the right. I think we can all agree he has a BFI > 10% and therefore he must suck at hockey. Amirite?

- Chris16

Yea when Casey puts up those kind of numbers then we can talk

Maybe you should look at Kyle Wilwood

This is pretty good. I picture Gerbe as Zack Morris here. Only shorter, not as popular nor as athletic.

Not as good as Asplund, that's for sure. Sobotkas veteran card puts him ahead. But it's also, again, and again, and again, Day 1.
