That's a steal if he develops as planned and not too painful if he just turns out to be pretty average.

I really don't think TK has much leverage to be asking for anything that crazy. At least that's what you'd think.

When guys are getting 11 and 12,000,000 now, I think this deal will be a bargain by year 3. I’m excited to get this season going.

6.75 million for 6 years. That gives us Provorov for a total of nine years of his career. A lot of minutes played. Give that kid an “A” right now!

Deal and term definitely doesn’t seem outrageous. As for trading any players on our defense, I think they should wait for camp to end of early in the season.

I wouldn’t call it a steal. Provorov did quite well for himself. He was asked to play a lot of minutes and he did for a lottery team that leaned on him heavily due to the club’s deficiencies. He’s still a young player with a near 7 mil cap number that has not shown that he can qb a power play with much success in this league. He is solid in his own end and has a decent shot but he doesn’t get creative offensively and has to bounce back from a bad, concerning year. It appears to be a fair deal
