If you can have such a thing as an underrated HOFer, it's Fedorov. |

Did anyone read the Rossi article on the Athletic?
https://www.pensburgh.com...ionship-nhl-mike-sullivan
Pensburgh had some snippets from it and it talked about Malkin and his relationship with Sullivan and Kessel.
I'm not a fan of Rossi, but wondering how much is true and how much is exaggerated. - abcpens10
This sounds about right. Same thing as in Toronto, it’s easy to overlook Kessels off ice behaviour for awhile because he’s such a talent, but eventually he starts to wear on the coaching and it trickles down to other players trying to get him to be a team player.
I don’t envy Tocchet, Kessel is going to go in their thinking he and Tocchet will resume their buddy buddy relationship like Tocchet is still an assistant coach. Young budding team about to absorb a player who is going to sulk the first time Tocchet late into him for being a piece of garbage at practice. |

True. He should have stayed in Detroit and won another 3 Cups. |

All veracity goes right out the window as soon as Rossi says it. If he told me the sky was blue, I'de look out the window to make sure there was still a sky. |

That's why u dont write stupid articles questioning trades all the time...the human element behind the scenes plays a huge role in what happens...to throw gms under buses because u have a hardon for certain players doesnt account for a lot of what REALLY is happening.

Always comes back to goaltending with this team. It's been about 8 years of question marks in net.
I have a bit of faith in Mrazek though. He proved he can at least be an average starter. - BINGO!
This is a good reminder to Pens fans who either want to trade Murray or are indifferent about doing so. |

The feeling I get is that people in Russia respect more Kovalchuk and Ovechkin before Malkin and Datsyuk.
Bure, Mogilny are a bit below those guys IMO. - Barnaby36
Datsyuk is considered a god in eastern Europe, especially Russia.

Ovi gets his nod just for being the best goal scorer ever. |

Not a huge fan of Rossi at all but I don’t think there is anyone that follows the team with more then half a brain that doesn’t realize by now Malkin wasn’t a fan of Kessel. |

OK. For those of you following at home, cause this writer clearly isn't, Jake Gardnier is an absolute mess in his own end. The Leafs desperately need another good NHL defenseman yet just about every real fan breathed a collective sign of relief when Area 51 finally signed somewhere else. That should tell your something.
- Greyman
For someone who has watched Gardiner you seem to neglect the fact that he spent a lot of time playing above his skill level as a top pair Dman in Toronto minus last season and you neglect that he has yet to play with a competent partner. Jake Gardiner will be a fine Dmen in Carolina playing with a solid D partner and being used properly. |

Rossi is generally trash, but for some reason Malkin opens up to him, so he may have actual insight here. I haven't read it yet |

BTW, Pettersson is in town and participated in an informal workout with his teammates. Probably a good sign he'll be signed soon since his agent said he won't participate in camp without a deal and he's in town. |
