Pens had 4 or 5 key guys miss F loads of time right up to a game or two before playoffs plus a few playing very banged up. They were completely out of sync and that was the biggest factor (among a few others) in losing 4 straight IMO.

And then they got smoked 4-0 by the Canes.

They are a very solid team. Probably the best defensive core in the league. I think Car, Pit, Wsh will all battle for the top 3 spots this season. I'm also very high on New Jersey for some reason. I think they will surprise some folks.
