In your opinion.

Not every player is the same.

If, and it's probably a big if, Cozens fits in he will stay.

- thatsapickle

If they give him a 9 game tryout, they'll ruin him like they ruined Sam Reinhart!

What are you talking about?

He was playing against people that would never make the nhl and then he went to the WHL

I think Cozens is the most NHL ready prospect from this years draft not named Kakko or Hughes. The question is, is his top end potential as high as someone like Zegras that we might be asking ourselves in the coming years.

Byram and Dach will be more influential to their teams than Cozens or Hughes. Hughes is going to look bad compared to Kakko this season.

Hughes is not even close to nhl ready and yet he’s going to be forced in.

Cozens will be fine. He has the speed to keep up. That is half the battle in the current nhl.

Tage was too good for the AHL. He needs nhl experience to get better.

Nope, I disagree.
Tage needs to redefine his game and find his inner-toughness to become a beast on the wall and drive the net hard. Physicality should be his calling card.
His game doesn't need finishing touches, it needs to be completely re-engineered.

I'll bet you 100 internet dollars that if Ruotsalainen or Asplund have more goals and points than Okposo during the preseason, they won't make the team over him. He doesn't PK and they dont need him on the PP anymore, so it should be a fair fight
- jcragcrumple

Okposo isn’t as bad as most on here bash him for being

Sabres who scored more goals than him last year:
Skinner
Eichel
Sam
Pommer- 16 to Okposo’s 14
*and Okposo didn’t get the benefit of playing with Jack

Asplund didn’t even score 14goals last year in the AHL

Such a small sample size shouldn’t really determine much unless a kid looks drastically better than him
