Moberg reminds me of Sopel or Rozsival with his lanky frame and awkward skating.

- AEL_Fox

For a last round choice, there is certainly a lot of potential there. He has a because he was pretty physical in the WHL. He has got some Shea Weber there...big shot, but just like Shea Weber, he will have to figure to defensive coverages, positioning. (in 2005, Weber really was lucky to be paired in Super from the begining in Nashville.)

I think his shaking is fine.

It looks like we get to see a little RHLD form Boqvist as the hawks send Dach and BoQvist back in for the "final."

Entwistle gets to play the more familiar RW with Hagel and Dach

hagel - Dach - Entwistle

Hakkarainen - Kurashev -Soderlund

McLaughlin - Johnson - Teply

*McKay - Coughlin - *Josling

Boqvist - Moberg

Beaudin - Ryczek

Krys - Ramsey

It seems to me the teams BEST players in the tournament got rewarded with the honor of finishing this out...

Sorry for misspeaking but Moberg's skating is fine as you pointed out. His lankiness make his movement seem awkward but his skating gets the job done and he's fairly agile.

I do like the physicality he brings plus the booming shot. In that regard, I could see a potential Weber comparable.

Really like that 2nd line of Kurashev centering Soderlund and Hakkarainen. Excellent skaters, speed, solid awareness in all zones, and offensive gifts.

Sorry, not able to watch this last game. Hate to disappoint your readers. Or at least the few that actually read my posts!

I'm in a 3-hour meeting at work right now so my coworkers will notice a hockey game streaming on my laptop. Hiding all of the flashing ads on HockeyBuzz is another animal to tame...

How long will it be before Versteeg suits up for the Blackhawks?

Pretty sure the local cable access channel that televised one of my 1990-91 games at the Elmhurst Y had better production value and camera angles than these Traverse City streams . . .

Looks like Dach got hurt, he was boarded by a Wild prospect. Hopefully he’s kept out just for precautionary measures.

It appears to be a shoulder injury, but. It serious. He’s being held out as a precaution.

Pretty garbage hit. It looks like every team they played against had the same idea, hit Dach at every possible chance.

Hawks camp roster is out. No real surprises other than the fact that they are apparently bringing 6 goalies, and I didn't know that Graham Knott was still in the system...

Is de Haan ready to skate?

edit: Is de Haan cleared to play would be more correct. His injury should allow him to skate.

That hit on Dach was terrible - take a look at it on CSN

Looks like he was getting lined up from the dot for the "Big Hit"

so the Dach bench early was precautionary but more to ensure he wasn't going out there to get froggy for his rub.

Boqvist might have dinged his shoulder, but again precautionary.

I can't find a single thing on him outside of him saying that he is ahead of schedule and that he expects to be ready for camp. I was hoping for more as well.

Kurashev is hurt too. Plus a fourth prospect just left the game.

I'm not able to watch the game but...

You won't believe this, but Mikael Hakkarainen just went to the locker room. No idea what happened.

#Blackhawks have four guys in there: Dach, Boqvist, Kurashev and Hakkarainen.

What the heck is going on??

Haven’t been watching but per Second City Hockey:

If the Wild got a goal for each hit from behind they’d be leading this game.

Yeah, I would expect Knott, Noel, and Fortin to be searching for a new team next summer. None really have a future with the Hawks. Maybe they can be packaged sooner than later for picks, even late rounders?

Glad to see Gravel participating in training camp and start getting him the experience to train with the NHL caliber players. Doubt he leapfrogs Delia or Lankinen on the prospect depth chart but he could be better than the Fuel goalies Tomkins and Marchand. Yet, Gravel may be best served leading his junior team than playing ECHL.

Pope:

If I’m the Blackhawks, I forfeit this game at the second intermission.

#1, don’t let any more guys get hurt. #2, make a statement this is completely unacceptable for a preseason prospects tournament.

They probably won’t, and I get why, but they should.

I think you can reverse that opinion too.

The hawk defenders are not backing down, and it is not like they haven't been aggressive. Like I said before, in watching #71 prior to his draft year, there were lots of" down to the ice, like he was shot dead" moments.

Despite the immense chubby Kaapo Kakko has gotten, Dach has had really good dominating moments too.

And I cannot stop heaping praise on Enstwistle, asked to play centre when we know his strength is as a RW....the baby hawks on a PK....he goes in for the face off; it comes out of the circle squirts past the other face off guy, and Enstwistle flies out and gets to the loose puck before the pp point guy or other attackers could react.

I really think he embraces the roles he is asked to play in and wants to be an NHLer....

That Dach charge was a really deceptive run at him; the guy Darian Pilon started taking stride after stride and it looked as though he was going to try and catch the play, but Pilon basically was his 5th stride pump intent to target Dach.
