Great to hear you loved the show. I didn't buy the program so wasn't really aware of the theme you mentioned but it makes more sense now.
I liked the fact that I got to hear tunes live that I have never heard before...such as the Blaze Bayley years 'Sign of the Cross' and 'The Clansman'. Plus some tracks form Brave new World which I had never heard live either. overall a very great show it was a bday gift from me to my younger brother and he loved it...was all worth it. - LordHumungous
I wonder if you can still buy 1 online. It was worth it for sure and the photos of the show were really great.
In the program they address the song selection which had to fit the themes. That's why you heard he songs you mentioned.
I loved their energy which I'd say was at an all time high....at what 60 years old. You could really tell their hearts were really into it.
Probably the best done show I've ever seen. My only complaint is they were only here for a single show

Starting to look forward to the season. Thought Benning had a good draft and free agency, along with a trade for a pretty decent player(although, I never like seeing a west be involved).
Should be fun, following both the Canucks and Comets. |

Speaking of Canucks and Comets.
added Lind. “You have to earn your ice time and something he (coach Trent Cull) got across early was that we have to learn the little parts of the game that you don’t see in junior. You have to be aware all the time — especially when you don’t have the puck.”
Looks like everyone Benning, Green, Cull are all on the same page. |

It allowed Gadjovich the 6-foot-2, 203 pound winger to get a little leaner and quicker through specific training and power skating.
I wonder who's power skating coach he used.

For people losing their minds over Podkolzin's recent deployment, in the last 11 years, SKA has dressed six U19 skaters. That's it.
The ppg leader sits at 0.10.
This is a club that keeps its young players in VHL/MHL until they can contribute towards a championship.
Even U20 players have historically struggled to earn regular minutes with SKA.
Just eight U20 skaters have recorded a point for the club. The point-per-game leader sits at 0.28.
Battling for ice on an elite team in the 2nd best league in the world isn't a negative. If he's going to live on the bench, they'll send him down to the V
He'll thrive against his peer group internationally. He'll gain pro experience. This will not be a wasted yr developmentally |

Thanks Carol and big congrats to Bianca, as someone who's followed her career for several years now along with all the other young canadians, it was very cathartic to see us finally get our first grand slam. Here's hoping it's the first of many. |

I don't have a problem with it. To me it's sort of like Gadjovich and Lind playing in the AHL last season. It's a learning experience against pro's and to be around pro's. Probably a little less about developing on ice skills and more off ice stuff.

Exactly, those two guys are more of a concern right now. I get it they're kids, but i'd like to see them make a push this year. |

I had to go look but I believe so yes. He will be 25.
Timo Meier signs a 4 year deal for 6 million AAV.
Boeser is in the same draft class as them.
Aho signed offer sheet for 8.454 for 5 years.
Aho and Boeser are on the same scoring pace for their careers. Aho probably worth a bit more than Boeser.
A 4 year deal at 6.85 would be good for Boeser |

I might be the only person who is not concern at all about Lind.
As he said last season was a wake up call. He looked like a good 2nd round selection. Not a high first.
They should be able to lead some more this season in Utica. I expect Lind to be about a .70 ppg this season. Gadjovich I hope gets closer to the .50 mark |
