As lucky as you say he was he was also unlucky in the first half

He isn't a polish vet by any stretch of the imagination

But he is improving, he's getting the ball out quicker, he is making better throws and is checking down when needed.

He does need to hit on a deep ball but his OC did him no favors in the first half

- Stripes77

Totally agree!!

But im saying did not show anything different that any game last year

- deep throws not close
- ok he did check down ( different )But how many were low?
- people say he look comfortable in pocket. I didnt see it. 3rd and short you could see he gave it 1/2 sec time for first read than ran.

Sounds like last year.

He won the game 😃

His throws standing in the pocket under pressure were absolutely accurate and impressive

It’s not his accuracy that’s an issue, it’s his decision making

As someone who posts as much analytics as yourself I’m shocked by that statement

He isn’t Brees, but he’s absolutely on target from in the pocket. Was all day.

It’s the broken plays and trying to force throws he is terrible at

Sorry but I can’t blame a QB for a ball bouncing off a receivers hand, then knee, then directly into a LB’s hands. That’s ridiculous

Ridiculous and unlucky.

Growth to me is a making that throw on the numbers.

No pass rush, plenty of space between defender and receiver. Has to know to take a little bit off of his fast ball ( maybe on coaching ) ( paging housley )

Unlucky but avoidable....

Sure. He also made a fantastic over the shoulder throw to Beasley right in his hands that was dropped.

He made 3 really bad throws, but a bunch more really good ones.

Any redfish this time of year? Bull reds on top water in the la delta is some of the most fun fishing I think there can be. Downright insanity.

Until Mosley got hurt ..... the entire offense was awful. Not just Allen. Once they got their act together. They could move the ball

In the end, isn’t that the only thing that really matters?
If Allen has games like this all season, but the bills say, end up 12-4, does it matter how good Allen was as long as the team is winning?

Chalk it up to first game jitters for the team I guess......

Actually more dissapointed in the coaching. Thought they turned the corner

Drop shady and have allen throw it like brees and not use singletary. What?!?!

Really lookes like they have alot of trust in allen. Little sheltering wont hurt...

You're an idiot. He came back and won the game. Go home, you're drunk. He didn't have the best game by any stretch, but after he almost lost us the game single-handedly, the coaching staff called a few runs to the right RB and Allen literally scored the two TDs needed to win after that. One a run and one a pass.

Yes, he got help. But you need to sit the heck down with this crap.

- BeadyEyedDouche

There were definitely encouraging signs, staying in the pocket, not just tucking and taking off, actually throwing the ball away instead of forcing it, except once when he was way, way late and got away with it because of a penalty. Accuracy is, and probably always will be, an issue. I bet he becomes an athletic Fitzpatrick and a bigger arm.

This Cards Lions finish is bananas.

The second one was even more ridiculous, the defender didn't even have to move, it literally fell into his hands after the tip at the line.
