My few observations:

Cozens is more NHL ready than jack Hughes. Hughes always dominates his peers but when he goes up in age always struggles big time. Tonight he struggled big time. You can see Hughes skill his body just isn’t ready. Hughes was throwing blind backhand passes in the o zone to literally no one. Did that with USA and caulfield would be wide open

(Yes I obviously know Hughes will be ultimately better than cozens)

I think cozens competes for a spot and get his 9 games. His skating and speed are a notch above everyone else and he’s a big dude.

Asplund joker olofsson shouldn’t be playing. They are just too good and beyond this level of hockey

How did Borgen look? If his development is on track, he should look like a man among boys out there too.

He was also very good. Had a nice goal from a nice pass from asplund

The one player I thought had issues was Pekar. But I get he hasn’t played a live in game in awhile due injury I believe?

Yes, collarbone in January.
Other reports had him playing his pesky game nicely, and he dropped the gloves and took down a guy very much bigger than he. Nice...but really would like to see him get on the scoresheet several times now.

So just like the hack Incarcerated Bob said 36 hours ago, Raiders are waiving AB’s guarantees and he has now demanded his release.

Until he shows offensive upside to me he is more Patrick Kaleta then Andrew Shaw. Could be a fixture on the 4th line for us though.

He needs help.

If there ever was a poster child for CTE, it’s him.

His bean just isn’t right.

I only saw the first two periods - Borgen and Hickey had completely control of the ice when they were out there. He looked as you would hope he would look.

Cuz definitely needs to head back to juniors to continue to grow his game. I noticed him a bit more as the game went on but there was a gigantic gap between the people with experience and those without it.

I actually thought Hughes looked good. It is hard to look great when your team is being steamrolled.

I liked what I saw of Pekar - he is developing nicely. I didn't realize he is as big as he is.

Incarcerated Bob said Brown was getting suspended then released.

Just for those of you who prop this clown up.
