I wish Chris Stewart all the best but if he finds a spot on this roster I'll be a little bummed that none of our kids are taking the next step over him. I just think he's a low ceiling player who isn't going to add much one way or another to this squad that already has plenty of veteran forward presence.

I think he would bring grit and a presence. 4th line and move one of Raffl, Laughton, or Pitlick to 3rd. I would be okay.

I really think our young guys would be better served with quality minutes in LHV. At least for the first half.

As much improved as we are (yes we are) we are not a cup contender. Let the young guys mature.

Yeah, it’s not a big deal one way or the other if Stewart makes the team. May the best man win.

if Chris Stewart can come in here and be an effective player and physical presence for this team I don't see the problem.

I also don't see a need to rush these kids when they haven't played any pro hockey yet.
