The Next Chapter: Antonio Brown and GM Mike Mayock got into it Wednesday, and the team is now planning to suspend its star wide receiver, league sources tell ESPN.

I hear the Jets kicker is no bueno. Maybe they should take that 3 off the board for now
- jcragcrumple

The jet's kicker can't defend himself and needs protection.

Happy NFL Day!

How are we feeling about Sunday?

I think it's a coin flip - not sure why the Bills are 3 point 'dogs.

Talkin' proud, talkin' proud.

5-11 ... maybe 6-10. Sucks that we have a pretty decent D only to be let down by an inaccurate QB. Accuracy was bad in college, and now bad in the NFL.

Only way I see them succeeding is to have Allen dump it off to Beasley and Yeldon repeatedly. Never go deep downfield ... just dump it off every pass. And when they're not open, take off running. Boring ? Sure, but it could be effective.

You mean the Patriots way?

Also they went 6-10 with Allen as a rookie QB

He won 5 of those games when he wasn't supposed to play

The Bills D is going to be good again

They have an easy schedule

8-8 at the worst

Not today, boss. You'll have to take your oddly salty attitude elsewhere, friend

They were undefeated in the preseason!

That's got to mean something, right?

No?

Damn.

If Allen is the real deal this team is probably the most talented on paper since 99, at least at the starters position.

They also have decent depth for the first time in forever

They could still use a true #1 WR though

To be perfectly honest, I'd be thrilled with a wildcard berth, followed by a 45-3 blowout loss in the first round.

I think that would be a bit of an over-achievement, and would show some progress.

If they made it to the playoffs they would have to play a division winner, with what happened to the Colts with Luck who knows who will win the South? Probably Houston and the Bills played decent against them last season.

Or the AFC North so against the Browns/Steelers which would be a tough game.

I don't think they would get blown out but again that is a long ways away.

I just want to see them improve and Allen to show signs he is developing.

The first 3 games are all winnable games we shall see.

Antonio Brown has accomplished something no one has in a long, long time, if ever: play on the same team as Richie Incognito and still manage to be the bigger headache.

This also applies to my thinking on the sabres if you replace the word "round" with "game"

Yeah, does not seem like Beane nor McDermott would have even considered trading for him. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Beane say something like 'They called us and we said no'?
