I think it's humorous that in a time of #metoo that young girls who are extremely successful due to factors other than just good looks, still want to be considered sexy.

Andreescu tweets loads of pictures of herself in tiny bathing suits and provocative poses. These pictures are not stolen from a cell phone. It's marketing and it's a bit crazy.

Its not that black and white. It most certainly pertains to the #metoo movement. Its saying that we can be sexy and not have it construed as wanting to be coerced etc... by men.

Now, its now the main message of the #metoo but sexuality is definitely a part of it.....

Yes, I know the difference but there is a spot light on the issue of sexual harassment, objectification, and power over the vulnerable. Anything in that sphere of sexuality will be scrutinized.

These pictures are not kept in a private scrapbook like many of our wives have done. They are being shared with the world, marketing their own sexuality, and I think that says something about our contradictory behavior as a society.

Was reading the latest Canucksarmy prospect report on Lukas Jasek. Comment made in there about "not having top tier NHL talent" in Utica to help players like Jasek.

Players like Petey and Hughes top tier NHL talent will most likely never be in Utica.

The vets Utica had weren't the best and they did upgrade them a little over the summer.

Isn't it more up to the prospects themselves?

Wouldn't playing with top tier talent in the AHL just mask a prospects problems when it came time to the NHL and most likely won't be playing with the same top tier talent.

I guess what I'm getting at here is that I think the prospects need to step up and be the leaders if they are going to make the NHL. They need to bring up their linemates not the other way around.

It's amazing that people can play NHL hockey at that weight. I'm 180 and I'd be absolutely crushed out there regardless of skill level. I just couldn't take the physical punishment. I would just stop working.
