While I feel this makes complete sense and I completely agree with it living in Canada.
I wonder how safe I'd feel in a country where everyone has a gun except myself.
It truly is a terrible problem.

My cousin who works at customs arrested an American couple at the border, they were traveling in a motorhome. Turns out the man is a retired cop and apparently they give you your service weapon when you retire. So they had it with them in the motorhome.
My cousin told them that if they wanted to enter Canada they had no choice but to seize the gun. Then the wife replied: But...How will we protect ourselves?
A bit mind boggling...I guess I can just be happy I never really had to live with that kind of mindset, and such worries. |
