I do. Well, I did. Haven't seen him in a few years. But he's doing something right.

Oh, ok then.

Still, there's a strong chance that someone acting like a pompous bumhole gets called an "idiot", even if he's good at what he does, and/or has a very high IQ.

Tremblay is a jackass and a Sacha.

Walsh may be a pompous bumhole, but he's far from dumb.

Well, in theory, her legal ownership of this licensed weapon, is the basis for the 2nd Amendment. She was protecting herself and her home, from an intruder. Now, shoot first mentality is a whole other story, and the daughter could have announced herself too.

That was in theory. In reality, I can't imagine owning a gun, let alone firing it in my home.

and without seeing who you are shooting at, she's very lucky she's a bad shooter and only got her in the arm.

Do you feel like a minority for thinking this way, or do the gun-crazy people pretty much all live down south?

edit - Gotta love the comments from the chief of police: "If you realize someone has a gun for protection, and they're not expecting you—announce yourself when you enter the home, or even if you're getting up to get a drink of water in the middle of the night, just announce yourself"

The south is certainly better known for it. But there are a good number of people in the north that carry as well.

Or if women weren't allowed to carry a weapon. Give them the right to vote, and next thing you know they want to pretend they're equal and everything.

While I feel this makes complete sense and I completely agree with it living in Canada.

I wonder how safe I'd feel in a country where everyone has a gun except myself.

It truly is a terrible problem.
