Personally I'm sick of the rhetoric. If you don't like that they took the statue down...don't follow the team. Pretty simple.

To me, it wasn't so much removing the statue as the way in which they did it.

As for removing "God Bless America," I've thought it should have been done years ago...again, I just didn't like how it was handled.

So I just finally confirmed that the band Focus did in fact record more songs than just "Hocus Pocus."

But I have not yet confirmed if anyone could name any of those other songs.

To me, it wasn't so much removing the statue as the way in which they did it.

As for removing "God Bless America," I've thought it should have been done years ago...again, I just didn't like how it was handled.

I think it's silly to stop being a fan because a statue, symbolic though it may be, is removed. But again, it was the way in which they did it (in secret in the middle of the night) that ticked me off. I get it, they didn't want people more or less chaining themselves to the statue, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Yeah. While it is true they removed in on false information and jumped the gun in an effort to mollify a small group of people who don't watch hockey anyway, it didn't bother me enough to give up watching The Flyers, or the Yankees.
