I think Vesey should do 20-25G here.

His TOI is 14:20 and 16:03 the last two years. I see him being around similar TOI with buffalo. But the way he was used is interesting. 53% Dzone starts last year, 51% career. Mainly 5v5 Ice time. Only 2 of his 34 goals the last 2 years were powerplay goals.

Considering the lack of forward depth, his PP time should go up, and he will be on the ice in more offensive situations. I also think that there is a good chance he plays with Reinhart, which might mean a lot of nice setups.

All in all, I like his approach. They are trying to build a deep team, and I think we're seeing that on defense already. They just need a couple more big time playmakers, particularly on offense, though a pass rusher would be awesome as well.

I see eichel Skinner and Sam as the first unit, Mojo is clearly on the second to skate the puck in, but I think Vesey should see consistent second team pp time in front of the opponents net.
