Closer to a coastal grizz, well because they're coastal bears that venture far into/onto the sea. Polar bears are (frank)ing scary bears dude, they manhunt.

I couldnt convince a Toronto friend that BC doesnt have Polar Bears after he saw a BC Kermode on TV. He got even more confused when I told him what he saw was a Black Bear. He's been in Toronto his whole life so there's no convincing him that I know what I'm talking about.

Beartschi has long standing chemistry with Horvat. Also, more than with Petey.

Miller Petey Boeser
Beartschi Horvat Ferland
Pearson Sutter Virtanen
Leivo Beagle Motte

Or swap Sven and Pearson on the Horvat line to try and balance out 3 scoring lines but I like Sven in the top 6 when healthy...

Afternoon everyone,

I have been extremely busy and have been staying away to focus on other issue that actually really matter in life.

I recently had a message request to see if I could influence the people in charge to add a couple more refs for this blog. I am assuming that things have gone off the rails in here (AGAIN). I have seen that a few regulars have been banned recently and after reading the beginning of the last Carol blog I can see that a few are using the main blog to voice their love (sarcasm) for each other. Please take it to the forums and keep your petty squabbles out of this blog.

Now the likelihood of Capt EO assigning more refs is probably not going to happen, as I have been away I have to assume either WhiteLie or Micah555 were the refs that handed out the bans. So there has been some policing that is ongoing but it seems the bans just don't work or people just think they have a right to be obnoxious with each other.

To all the tough guy keyboard warriors, please find a different forum to air the petty bullsh!t. If this starts up again when I log on, the timeout starts at 1 week, then 2, then a month, then 3 months.

Thank you for understanding.

BTW some good discussions in here today, Bo for Captain, I prefer Ferland with Petey and Boes, and Miller with Bo and Pearson.

Good interview with Benning.

Have a good weekend.

Polar bears, a relatively new species that evolved from Grizzly bears during the ice ages were always doomed as the remnants of our ice ages disappear. They have already started to breed with Grizzly Bears as they are pushed inland by the melting ice. The offspring have been captured and dna tested. They will become Grizzlies again.

Oh I get it, reverse evolution! That would explain some of the cro magnon posters on this site.

Cro Magnon are modern humans. Maybe you mean an earlier species?

I'm not convinced Pearson makes the 2nd line.

I'm not convinced either, but it would be silly not to start him with Bo after what he produced playing with him last year.

I just think we have an entire training camp and pre-season to evaluate. Maybe he makes it, but he's nowhere near a lock IMO.

I think it’s Sven if he’s healthy. He could be a candidate ( perfect storm ) for Masterton if things go his way. He’s got something to fight for.

9 goals in 19 games playing with bo though. That's nearly 38 goal pace over 82. Sven never had that pace , and dont give me no "small sample size" narrative cause clearly 19 games is more than enough

I really dont think there will be trades of Sven and Sutter before the beginning of the season but I can get on board no problem. I dont think Benning wants to do that early and I dont think there will be a market so omitting them from the starting line up makes little sense in my opinion.
- boonerbuck

Same goes for me. The 3/4th lines are a tough call being we’ve so many F’s.

I just really want see our 3 heavyweights playing on the same line, I think they would be one of if not the hardest lines in the league to line up against.

Would open a lot of space for Petey's line which is why I think Baertschi is a good fit while healthy. He's the most talented player of the options left IMO.
