I was referring to Luc Robitaille, but for sure there are others, hands and brains can overcome lack of skating prowess .

I still believe OJ will be a very good player for us

Not for OJ. Not yet. He is not good in his own end of the ice.

He can put up numbers though.

As far as pom poms I say we win one round in the POs

Playoffs is my expectations, winning a round would be gravy.

When ppl speak of this team model or that model i ignore it. By the time a team goes that route it’s not worth it nor practical.

I see it as more basic & break it down to smaller areas. The back end is the biggest one to begin with getting the Top 4 in order long term & good pairings make up.

In goal it’s a given no brainer.

For F lines the best constructed line in the NHL imo is Marchand Bergeron & Pastrnak. It has everything & can play in all situations. It’s most difficult to have a Bergeron but a few decent comparables are out there. Marchand like him or not is most rare. Pastrnak the least rare. When it’s all added up anyone saying they don’t agree only hates the Bruins & in denial.

You just said OJ will potentially still be on the NHL/AHL bubble heading into 2020. OSL and I believe that this year will be his AHL/NHL mix season and he'll prove himself as a NHL'er down the stretch and lock himself up a spot in 2020.

Well said.

Benning is brining that same unique mix to this group. He witnessed how the Bruins do things first hand and played a part in it himself.

He already had his skill offensive players in EP, Brock, Hughes, OJ and now he's added Pod, Miller, Ferland, Benn and Myers to the mix for size/physicality to go along with Bo, Virtanen and Roussel.

The Canucks are no longer a bottom tier team when it comes to toughness and size, there's a lot of size in the line-up and a few guys willing to throw hands. And no one doubts the skill of the young core.

No reason to be down, things are looking up.

I seen an amazing goal from Broberg two days ago ( end to end). I have also seen so bad cough ups. He is 17 and very good size speed and power.I think by the time he is 23 and has figured things out he is going to be a very good pick.

I would have taken him 10 of 10 over Zegras , just my opinion.

Playing top pairing this year, book it.
