It's not really good for crossfit, I can understand getting hyped for lifting weights at the gym but for crossfit when it's a really cardio workout I'm not sure I want to get my heart rate through the roof right off the bat.

Yeah, makes sense. I usually prefer "milder" pre-workouts, with less or no caffeine in it, since I hate the jittery feeling other products can give you.
