Yeah...he and Chabot are gems.
But my god the rest of that roster...wow. |

Tkachuk will get 50. I don't think anyone will need to carry his ass.
The rest of the forwards....ugh. - Stormeysuperego
That Batherson guy is pretty good. He will hit 40 points, possibly 50

Brannstrom is an interesting prospect at defense.
But yeah that team is pure garbage. |

It really is the worst roster I have ever seen. At least, I don't recall one as bad. |

Small skilled defenseman. I like him, I just think part of his value comes on the PP and I don't see him taking Chabot's spot. |

At least they have their 1st round pick this year. They have that going for them... |

Google 74-75 Capitals.
Now...that was bad.
But yeah this decade...awful. |

Can say the same thing about almost any defenseman in the league who inflate their points due to being on the #1 PP.

But yeah this decade...awful. - Stormeysuperego I'm 27 so I'd have no idea just by looking at the names how bad they were. I'll take your word for it. It's not like looking at a good team and understanding they were that way because they had some HOFs on the roster. |

Oh totally. I just don't know how much value he has outside of that aspect. I haven't really seen much of him, so maybe I shouldn't even been commenting here. I'm going off what I read. |

Marner plays in ALL situations. He's on the ice more than any forward on the team. Is durable, only missed 5 games. Drives the play, and is the QB. I'm with Bolland, Marner is the Leafs MVP. |

funny how it took a good center to get the winger to the next level. Almost as if that position is more important |

yes...that...or just the natural progression of a 3rd year, 4th overall pick, who led the team in scoring the previous year.

Sure. They both reap the benefits of one another. Doesn't change the fact that he is put on the ice more than anyone, including JT, plays all situations, drives the play etc. Certainly the club thinks he's the most versatile and useful forward for that to be happening. |

Probably better then Nylander last year but not as good as Nylander when he tags along with Matthew good. |

Exactly. Lets not forget that Tavares went from 37 goals to 47. |

obviously he's going to keep getting better, i wasn't questioning that.
Matthews and JT are still more important players if you're trying to win.
If there's a team built around a centerman playing a team built around a winger, I'm betting on the team with the center 10/10. It's a much more important position.

Nope. White > Bill Ny. Get it right. |
