Since the Hawks end the pre-season with a game in Berlin against the EIS Polar Bears, I was curious if there are any former NHLers on their roster. Former Canucks/Blues d-bag Max Lapierre is one. So are James Sheppard and Pierre-Cedric Labrie (former Hog).

Yes. All the time. It was worse when I used Chrome. A while back, I switched to Firefox, and they stopped for a long time, but now they're back.

I've been using chrome and no issues at all.

Powers: The Blackhawks and Brendan Perlini continue to discuss a new deal. Both sides sound optimistic. A source said Monday they were hopeful the contract would be done "over the next week or so."

I still don't think Stan is done tinkering with the roster. GM's seem to be waiting now to see what the RFA's sign for, and what roster moves need to be made to clear salary for Toronto and Winnepeg. Gardiner is the only real big UFA left to be signed.

Toronto seems to have successfully kicked the cap can down the road with the LTIR maneuver. For one year. Next year is gonna be awfully tough.

If Marner signs for $10M, they'll have $16M to sign 10/11 players. They have defenseman signed for next season.

They are over the limit now, so even if they put Horton and Clarkson's contract on IR, they have no cap space to make any moves in season in case of injury or at the TDL to add. I would say they are still in cap hell.

While I don't begrudge any pro athlete from trying to get paid as much as possible as soon as possible I find it comical that it's taken this long and they are still in discussions.

Perlini has the size and skill set but, aside from a couple of flashes of it over the past couple of years he hasn't shown much to justify anything more then a minimal raise.

It's just an IT fact that 90% (or so) of bugs target the non-Mac world. It largely mirrors market share. So definitely its been safer.

I use Mac's Safari browser, outside of some distracting popups ads on the side, I don't have browser issues others are noting.

Regarding how good the hawks actually were from January onward (top 10 team record wise) and St. L. showing the possibilities (worst record in league in January to cup champs), it makes me wonder if the hawks are actually a sleeping dark horse that few analysts are considering as playoff impact team. Current ones I've seen only put them as #5 or #6 in division (with caveat of saying the division has many good teams.

I know chemistry is hard to measure before it actually occurs, but if the hawks do have that teamwork chemistry, it sure seems to me this is a #3 or #4 team in the division.

In the last 20 years, I’ve had 3 MacBooks, 3 IPhones, and 4 IPads (2personal +2 company issued) ...none have ever needed fixing of any kind, and none have ever had a virus.

Yeah, I have only needed one repair in 30 years of owning Apple products, and I’ve owned too many to count. Just one laptop issue 25 years ago, the only repair I ever needed, and had one iPhone antenna go bad and replaced the phone, and that was it. The iMac desktop computers have been bullet proof too.

I'm thing the Hawks will be in the playoffs this year for sure if the new defensemen are good. As far as the St. Louis had the worst record in the league in January fact I think that gets overblown. They were 7-9-3 I think. Not like they were 3-13-3.

On January 3, they were 16-18-4=36, finishing the rest of the season at 29-10-5=63.

What if Dach has already cemented himself in the 3C role? Stranger things have happened...or maybe Kurashev.

What has Dach done to earn this? I've never seen a prospect so hyped in my life. Can't wait till he scores 80 points this year.

Quotes not working, but I don't think anyone is saying 80 points. However, it's very possible that he could do what Kotkaniemi did last year, which wouldn't be bad for a rookie 3C.

It's subjective but I hardly think Dach is the most hyped Hawk prospect...I've ever seen anyway.

Where did I say he earned it or was going to score 80 pts? It was a hypothetical asking "What if?".

One more question. Why not? It's not like he's got a bunch of other 3C candidates to beat out.
