No GM will give a winger 13+ per and surrender 4 1sts. That will never, ever happen. |

Holy (frank) it’s embarrassing being a leaf fan, there should be an age limit to post on here. |

Marner is greedy and overpaid...unless he resigns then he's back to being 'one of the best players in the league', right?

Leafs need a true defensive forward. Will be willing to trade Eriksson for Marner. Cmon Dubas, ensure the road to the Cup is paved with Swedish gold. |

Good on the Leafs. Find players that want to be there. Marner can play elsewhere for less money and less endorsement cash. |

This site doesn’t offer nearly enough coverage of the Leafs, Mitch Marner, or potential offer sheets. I think it needs more coverage of each of these topics. |

Hey Ek, don't you think the Leafs have management have considered all of the possibilities long before now? I mean, I'm sure they've reviewed a dozen different scenarios:
What would a 3-year offer look like?
What about 6?
What about 7?
How much bonus?
What would we do if he signs an offer sheet? What's the PR spin on that?
What type of trade would we accept?
Do we do that quietly or leak to the media?
What's the plan if he holds out?
Honestly, this is a Billion dollar business. They've reviewed every possibility. |

Eklund: RFA Today. Leafs NOT OK with Marner Missing Camp. Laine Talk Soon - Eklund
Ek. You gotta learn how to word things better. Instead of saying-
A source with the Maple Leafs texted me this morning that the they are starting to prepare for all possibilities, including a trade, if Mitch Marner isn't inked to a deal in the next few days..
You should instead say-
If Mitch Marner isn't inked to a deal in the coming days...
That way, when this "rumour" that you're reporting inevitably passes the deadline that you've set, you won't look as foolish, as you haven't given a definitive deadline.
You're welcome. |

Laine ain’t coming to Montreal.... respect for bringing them up to gain traffic but I’m guessing it’s mtl Drouin + take it or leave it and Winnipeg is domi + take it or leave it. Domi been all over mtl hyping the team and getting involved with the community, he ain’t going anywhere this offseason. |

It' s jut funny. It' s no different than Boston. Tampa, Colorado ETC situation.
No its just that the Toronto media and the Leaf fans think that the league revolves around them. |
