Jack will be in his 7th season, Mitts in his 4th

I’m totally fine with that range of experience having that level of talent

and Botts has extensively addressed those positions over & over so that we can afford to pay our best goal scorer

3C won’t be costing us that much at all

Having too many centers is a good problem to have. pick the best 4 and move others to wing or trade to fill a need.

From a public relations, media and organizational stad-point. In every single way it would have been an epic blunder to have let him walk over about half a million. Remember Michael Peca, anyone? Hasek? Dumont? Briere? Campbell? Should I go on?
